Is it possible to emulate private school education if you have motivated parents on a budget?!

Can't afford private school, dd year 6 & ds year old 5... What extracurriculars do private schools provide? What are the main differences & how can we compansate?

Another advantage (am state educated as are my dc) seems to be that you are a customer. A friends Dd is having MH issues she’s at a private school and my friend can just tell the school Dd will miss this lesson she doesn’t feel up to it etc and the school can’t be more helpful. That would go down badly at my dds large comp!

Dd2 is now socialising with the private school kids I see no discernible difference really bar a few of the parents being absolutely insanely rich!
