Who else is NOT HAVING A TAKEAWAY?!

I am tired, its been a long week at work, and I fancy a Chinese takeaway. But am determined not to waste my hard earned money. So am posting this for accountability. Is anyone else in a similar situation?

We've never had a takeaway. Supermarket pizza every Saturday.

No takeaway for miles here.

Make chicken tikka curry, rice and homemade rotis for the first time. The roti was super easy and cost very little. Total meal for 3 about £8

We're not either. Mainly because I'm on a diet but also we just can't justify the cost anymore. We haven't had one since Hogmanay and used to have one most weekends.
We had meat free kebab meat which I had as a salad bowl and my husband had in a Greek wrap and it was blummin good!!!

A Simply cook curry here tonight and it was really tasty. I do love takeaway but we had a Chinese last weekend and the prices have gone up massively (not surprisingly) so it's going to be a once a month treat from now on.

Also, had a £3.99 aldi stuffed crust pizza Friday night as I was craving a pizza, soo much better than domino’s and less calories!

Freezer / pantry rummage here! We had a random help yourself buffet of sausages, risotto, pesto pasta, chicken nuggets and it was glorious 😂

I never get takeaways but am sometimes tempted by the local Greek restaurant that does chicken skewers with rice and salad...so good. But it's not much more effort to get some fish/meat out of the freezer, steam vegetables in the microwave and serve with instant rice.

Top tip if you're tempted, go look online at clothes, make up, books, perfume, whatever you're interested in and see what you could get for the price of the takeaway. The takeaway usually won't seem worth it then

We did M&S southern fried chicken drumsticks and tights with coleslaw and homemade chips.
Expensive but not kfc expensive and much much nicer!
