Maybe you could answer the thread question then and list the Brexit benefits

Why don't you read the answers already given on multiple Brexit threads? You should be the one starting a rejoin thread - you're Dutch, not British - persuade us to rejoin.

I should have thought it was sufficient to have Rishi and his merry band working hard to persuade us to rejoin.
I feel certain that is what he means by Long term decisions for a brighter future.

Well, a one off like Major's can be excused

A 'one off'?
His affair lasted four years.

Yes a one off affair, did he have TWO affairs or can't you count?

The UK vaccinated with a poor quality vaccine, hence our very high, almost world beating infection and death rates.

That we were ahead of the EU is a pointless comparison.

But keep defending Boris and Tories, its all helping to keep Labour even further ahead in the polls :)

TBH though, i don't think even you believe what you write now, perhaps once but not anymore.

My daughter (student on overseas placement) learned how to do paperwork on her own, in a foreign country, in a language she couldn't quite read, to get residency (that she didn't need to do a few months earlier).

So benefits of resilience and independence... at a push...

My daughter was delighted to get a stamp in her passport on a recent school trip to France. Quite a Brexit benefit.

That is indeed a Brexit benefit. Congratulations you win the prize.

I have no idea how many affairs John Mayor had - or indeed when Sam Tarry separated from his wife - neither do you.

The UK vaccinated with a poor quality vaccine

My parents were vaccinated with Pfizer.

No, it's not - Germany lost an extra 20,000/30,000 people because they joined the EU scheme and their vaccine roll-out was slow.

But keep defending Boris and Tories, its all helping to keep Labour even further ahead in the polls :)

Why are you bothering to post if Labour have the election in the bag already?

It is just possible that the poster you are reply to isnt connected to the Labour party, but has in fact a great interest in what is best for this country.

Its a matter of public record, we do know & Major was was no Bojo, though a bit of a dark horse!!! You Tories have form over the decades.... who was that toe sucking Tory minister? any relation to you?

Yes your parents with Pfizer, not AZ, which was the vaccine the UK used initially, which turned out to be rubbish.

EU vaccine roll out was slow because of supply issues with mRNA, as well you know.

Please link to Germanys death toll vs UK's ?

Nothing in the bag but you keep pushing the tory cause, to Labours benefit... keep at it trooper!

Not connected with any party, if i was, it would be the Greens, the environment beats everything.

Pfizer, not AZ, which was the vaccine the UK used initially

8 December 2020
A UK grandmother has become the first person in the world to be given the Pfizer Covid-19 jab as part of a mass vaccination programme.

It was the first of 800,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine that will be dispensed in the coming weeks.

Up to four million more are expected by the end of the month

Germany 'only' had 10,000 deaths during the first wave - their halo slipped thereafter and Merkel was criticised for joining the EU's vaccine scheme and a slow vaccine roll-out.

David Blunkett and John Prescott spring to mind - any relation to you?

HRTQueen · 29/10/2023 20:12

That for a while Farage wasn’t constantly on TV and he wasn’t bloody Question Time’s favourite guest

sadly he is now making his return but it was good for a while

David Blunkett and John Prescott were Tory Ministers?

That explains alot.

No - Labour Ministers.

I am confused.
A question was asked about Tory Ministers, you replied with some names who were Labour Ministers. Why? Were you trying to dupe people into thinking they were Tory Ministers?

There was me hoping you would explain why a question about Tory Ministers illicited an answer about some former Labour Ministers.

Very confusing.

Alexandra2001 · 30/10/2023 07:32

Most of those 4m doses weren't despatched for many months, as we couldn't get them, the EU had pre ordered before the UK.
So we used AZ, which EU didn't want.... how many had an AZ booster? how many get AZ now?

Still no answer on UK vs Germany total deaths? i'll assist you ..... 231k vs 176k even more incredible considering they have a much bigger population, part of Schengen and according to you "had such a slow vaccine role out"

Some halo slippage there! Can't really see Merkel partying all night long either.....

Were they Tories? Blunket and Prescott? you ll have to tell me how many children they fathered with their (in your mind) multiple mistresses? or shall i assist you again? lol!

If you are following the Covid Inquiry, it is obvious why the UK needed a speedy roll out.

And brexit played a part in the UK's unpreparedness

The inquiry is certainly putting to bed the lie "Thank God we had Boris and not Corbyn...."

Its hard to believe the UK could have had a worse PM...

I wouldn't be so sure - you posted this guarantee a few days ago;
'[I] can guarantee there would have been no parties at no10 with Corbyn, perhaps a jam making seminar'

Well, it turns out that Corbyn attended an 'anarchists' carnival -

Oct 2020 Now Jeremy Corbyn breaks rules at memorial: Former Labour leader was at 'anarchists' carnival' with 100 others a week after he apologised for dining with eight friends.
