Yes I would, I tell my DH everything and he does the same and I know that info wouldn't leave any of us. I actually think a lot of couples do this.

Probably not, if a friend had told me in confidence, and it's not really his business. It would depend on how well he knew the friend. It might be something that I would mention to him eventually but I certainly wouldn't go running to him like "oh my god guess what!"
