We've had threads like this before and I love seeing what we all love.

I can't decide between 2 things so I'll cheat and add pics of both. The sideboard is much bigger than it looks and, sadly, I think I will have to sell it when I move. And the table was one of a pair, but ds sat on the other one and (unsurprisingly) it shattered into a million bits.

Thank you @Believers - along with many of our decorative objects and furniture it was an ebay find. It's made from fibreglass and we think it originally came from a film or stage set.

I have this exact same one! Yours looks lovely compared to mine. It needs stripping and re-oiling.

Does it have the machine still inside ? I've not really used mine (as have others) but my OH says it unusual to find them still there (he's a sewing machine mechanic.

I love that the top is one piece and folds down so you never know what it holds. Later pieces didn't have this 'extra'

@Oldraver yes it does and it still works! I also have a little plastic drawer with accessories in it, but I'm unsure if this would have come with the original unit? It was saved from my MIL's neighbours house when he died. They were going to take it to the tip

My beautiful Venetian wall plaque.
The love of my life bought it for me when we went to Venice, a very long time ago.
Suns, moons and stars were 'our' thing, the first Valentine present he ever gave me was a sun moon and stars toe ring. I was 15. I've never taken it off.
That plaque is one of my most precious possessions, besides his photos and letters.

Its not very clear in my picture there's a sewing machine on my sideboard. It was my grandma's and I can remember her using it - I've never tried it.

Don’t worry, am pretty sure we all crop our pictures to hide the chaos just outside of the frame! Well, I know I do. I find shoving shit behind a door helps massively 😂
