Please can we have a thread to show pictures of our favourite things in our houses?

We've had threads like this before and I love seeing what we all love.

I can't decide between 2 things so I'll cheat and add pics of both. The sideboard is much bigger than it looks and, sadly, I think I will have to sell it when I move. And the table was one of a pair, but ds sat on the other one and (unsurprisingly) it shattered into a million bits.

Always wanted a phrenology head oh got me one for Xmas last year and I love him really wish I'd bought him an Xmas hat this year.
Me and oh have very different tastes in decorating everything weve compromised on is quite bland grey and boring, he said I could do what I wanted in the downstairs loo cos he never uses it and I love my pink peacocks

Being a bit lazy but this is what I'm looking at from my sofa. We replaced an old wood burner with one made in the Isle of Wight. We do live in the sticks and only use very seasoned logs before anyone gets concerned about log burner use.

My fish tank, gives me so much joy :) Xmas lights make it feel more festive and warm !

Mine is my living room wallpaper. It's so gorgeous, I often just look at it instead of the telly! And it looks so lovely with the Christmas tree and this little tree ❤️

Nice idea for a thread and love your sideboard, OP! We have similar campaign style chests of drawers in our bedroom - such a classic yet versatile piece. Also love thenewwave's floor, what a fantastic surprise that must have been!

Two of my favourites are a Gustavian bureau (only half visible in the picture but too lazy to take a better one right now) that I inhereted from my grandmother and a 1960s Italian rattan and bamboo sideboard I picked up for 20 Euros a few years ago.

Do use the phrenology head in any way or is he just a thing of beauty to be admired?! I like your wallpaper - we had something similar when we first moved here but the dc were small then and there were several regrettable incidents involving felt tip pens ...

My dining table, which the previous owners left for me. It was really dark and shiny, but had it stripped back (can’t seem to find a photo of it before it was stripped).

I’ve got patchwork sofas. Found the manufacturer of the various fabrics and chose a couple of them to get the chairs recovered.

First pic has a few of my favourites, massive painting done by a friend who is now an artist. Bought for me for my 40th.

I've got a few bits of furniture I love, not everyone's taste but whatever. This unit is late 60's early 70's with a sewing machine inside. I'm also in love with my new ice bucket etc

The coffee table I lusted after for ages, and another sewing box. I also fell in love with this light set and still love it years later

I love my giraffe painting which is a paint by numbers done for me by my best friends 10 year old son!

My Craig Alan painting which I could look at for hours

And my giraffe and zebra bought in Kenya when I went on a wild camping solo safari (VERY out of character and brave of me!!) - they are made from old flip flops washed up on the beaches.

Not everything in my house is rainbow coloured btw!
