I would buy a hair topper as I’m losing my hair, perfect fringe are about 1000 so I would buy one and then get a new outfit and a little weekend away

An experience that will last long in the memory, definately not stuff.

Possibly cosmetic dentistry.

If I was going to be totally frivolous then a trip somewhere - maybe Scandinavia - northern lights have always been on my bucket list.

A new garage door and a holiday

A holiday, I have plenty of stuff and more is the last thing I need.

I had a significant birthday recently. About £2k was spent on me taking me, my dh and my two young adult children away for a 3 night stay in a European city on Eurostar and quite a nice hotel. We all loved it and it was the best birthday present I could have asked for.

There's literally nothing I would want to spend £2k on just for myself.

A watch or fancy piece of jewellery

A battery assist bike.

Either an amazing drum kit
or a slightly less good one and have a night away somewhere amazing

I'd probably save it for car repairs or if I needed to replace my car. Cost of living is through the roof so it's hard to put anything away.

I’d get a horse and a cat. No idea how much horses cost, probably loads more than £2k 😺 failing that a tag watch

Same as @HelloBunny, clear teeth aligners and whitening. Fed up of covering my mouth when I laugh or smile, or posing for photos with a grimace!

Luxury weekend away for me and DH.

Something for the wife. Her happiness is my happiness.

I am going to get a proper hard time for saying this, as Mumsnet HATES them with a passion, but I'd get another private number plate.

If I had the time as well as the money then I'd go on my own to some kind of wellness retreat in the alps or Tuscany or somewhere. Pilates, nice food, swimming in lakes that kind of thing.
