As soon as I saw JtS's ultimatum, I sent an email in green ink demanding they shut down my accounts and delete all my posts (they did the former)

I've been on a few of the bland and whimsical threads today. I read through the lifeboat and related threads and was quite depressed, but also cheered, by some of the posts.

If it stays live, I'll probably dip in and out, being careful with whom I interact. Several have turned out to be really unpleasant.

Does anyone know what happened to Wibble?

She used to post on the gardening thread and apparently didn't like the beta version of the site and left, but I've wondered if she might have signed up here or just given up on sm.

Really happy to see all the animals on this thread. Only just worked out how to upload after installing the app on the phone.. So, here's mine, who is an avid watcher of tv. It's the only image I can find at mo.

Brunothecat was much missed. I suspect he died. He was very ill wasn't he?
Good to be reminded of Bossab, and wholeheartedly agree about some of the very unnecessary sniping by one poster there. That poster was always very snippy and snide, and another of the reasons I pulled back from posting. He was a popular poster though it seems. Not been back to look at the board, but been too busy so will no doubt peep in sometime. I doubt I will post there.

What is that on the telly?

It is Imagine on BBC iplayer, featuring the work of the handmade films of William Kentridge, a South African artist. The cat was fascinated by the fast moving drawings. It's with Yentob. Some excellent artists on that series, Kucinghitam.

Ah, thanks! It sounds like just my sort of series. Treats for me to watch when I'm home alone.

Mine loves the TV as well (excuse the messy coffee table, it was last year when I was a sleep-deprived new kitten owner)

Love the cat watching Kentridge. I thought ooh, that looks a bit like a Kentridge drawing but thought it was something else looking similar (I think because of the colour of the image).

Another excellent telly watching cat (and that coffee table is tidier than anything in my house)!

Gorgeous telly-watching cats! Mine take no notice of the telly at all, and the dogs don’t understand that a dog barking on telly doesn’t mean there’s a dog in the garden barking at them. And don’t get me started on cats yowling in adverts!

Some new neighbours cut down all the trees in their back garden and now it is apparently our fault that our security lights shine in to their garden.

Silly buggers.
