If you were naming children tomorrow, what names would you pick?

Following in from my “how quickly do names come back into fashion”, I thought it would be fun to say what names we would pick, together with our own age, as our own age and peers will have influenced choices.

I am in my fifties. If I was naming babies tomorrow, my girls would be Lydia and Penelope (Penny), and my boys would be Paul and Finn.

If it was right now, I would choose Matthew and Eliana. And I’m late twenties!

Late 50s and the names I chose when I had them years ago

Late 40's..
Elliott, James, Benjamin, Christopher
Eliza, Rebecca, Lydia, Josephine

I'm late 30's. I would use Alice and Katie and Lance and Stuart.

Rosie or Lowenna for a girl. Not sure about a boys name. Maybe Charlie. (I wonder how many Charles and Camillas have been born this weekend!)

Nothing to do with the first letter! (Though my DD's name does also start with an 'A' 😄)
