If you were naming children tomorrow, what names would you pick?

Following in from my “how quickly do names come back into fashion”, I thought it would be fun to say what names we would pick, together with our own age, as our own age and peers will have influenced choices.

I am in my fifties. If I was naming babies tomorrow, my girls would be Lydia and Penelope (Penny), and my boys would be Paul and Finn.

Forgot to say I’m early 50’s.

50s. Jack and Ida

I'm in my 50s

Willow, Tessa, Cassie, Elodie for girls.

In my early 50s, I'd go for

Meredith and Matilda (Merry and Tilly)
James and Jack

Mid 40s.

Sam and Honey.

49 and I’d go for Hope or Holly and Sam or Eddie
my dads middle name is Edward so would use that, I just like the other names.

Henning - boy or girl

Late 20s

Eliza and Jemima for girls. Sam and Elijah for boys.
