Following in from my “how quickly do names come back into fashion”, I thought it would be fun to say what names we would pick, together with our own age, as our own age and peers will have influenced choices.

I am in my fifties. If I was naming babies tomorrow, my girls would be Lydia and Penelope (Penny), and my boys would be Paul and Finn.

Late 40s and all 4 would be called exactly what they're called. They suit their names.

Vivienne, Anouk or Eva for girls.

Max or Jack for boys.
