I bought an Amazon Alexa and I can honestly say it's saved me. My life is so much less chaotic! I have ADHD and I can..

Add things to my shopping list just by shouting them out! So I don't have to remember to write anything down, or forget what it was that I was going to write, I just say it there and then

I can ask my Alexa to play brown noise to help me sleep

I can say 'Alexa, start my day' - and she will tell me a random fact, tell me the time and the weather outside, and then put on my favourite radio station

I love her! Not an advert as I don't particularly like Amazon - never really 'same day delivery' and they put their prime costs up

I also use my omelette maker a lot. I suffer from executive functioning issues, big part of my ADHD. This means I get a half decent bit of food that's easy to make

My Eufy hoover. No more pet hair and crumbs all over the floor, I can run Eufy every morning while I'm working upstairs. It's decreased my workload SO much.

My Kindle - have it years now and it's still going strong. I use it loads, it's brilliant for commuting.

@HiGunny I couldn't believe I would get to say it first.. so glad you did!

My Eufy Robovac too.... Game changer:)

PeloFondo · 03/11/2022 18:20

Peloton
Aldi volume conditioner (has protein and CG friendly)
Silk pillowcase
Bioderma shower oil

CherryLongIsland · 03/11/2022 18:21

My dyson hairdryer. I can't believe what a difference it makes to my hair.

Boots version of the ordinary skin care. Has really made a difference to my skin.

Eufy robovac, makes the place look tidier with zero effort from me.

Boiling water tap, a hot pot of tea in seconds.

New Balance 327 they are just so light and comfortable.

Ugg boots as slippers, so cosy.

Premier Inn duvet and pillows, like sleeping in a cloud and my neck ache has gone.

The prints and pictures we have up in the house, make me smile daily.

GenialHarryGr0ut · 03/11/2022 18:22

Baavet wool filled duvet - it magically regulates temperature - I've gone from having the throw the duvet on and off me throughout the night to sleeping like a log. Beautifully warm but not too hot and not too heavy.

Dellaandthedealer · 03/11/2022 18:23

Fit Flop Skandia boots, so comfy and look cool!
Beauty Pie skincare
(big fan of Marcia Kilgore)

reigatecastle · 03/11/2022 18:28

Filter coffee machine, use daily
Running watch (Garmin 245)

greenshirt06 · 03/11/2022 18:29

My beloved Doc Martens <3 I walk the dog in them, I go to festivals in them, they save my feet when I go to gigs. They're 2 years old and still look brand new!

NannyGythaOgg · 03/11/2022 18:32

Silk filled quilt, so soft and light

Plug in induction hob. I've got rid of my fixed hob altogether. I have 2 Ikea single plug in hob units. One stays in the cupboard most of the time so I just have a single hob on my side, which I can easily put away too if I need the space.

saveforthat · 03/11/2022 18:39

Secateurs! I always have fresh flowers and broke a pair of kitchen scissors trimming the stems. Now I have the secateurs it's a doddle. Also a window vac. I have old sash windows that steam up in autumn/winter and it's a game changer.

Floordilemma · 03/11/2022 18:39

Joseph joseph microwave rice cooker

£15 (ish) and it makes perfect fluffy rice every time. Doesn't matter if I forget its on. Don't need to check on it. Doesn't take up another space on the hob. Goes in the dishwasher.

I've since bought two as gifts for other people 😆

tunthebloodyalarmoff · 03/11/2022 18:47

My scensy wax Melt lamp I have it on every evening with no other lights I love it

Goingforplatinum · 03/11/2022 18:49

My phone as I do everything on it, call, text, email, work email, teams, Internet, calender, calculator, video calls...I could go on.

Amazon prime as I'm impatient and also use it for free books.

Audio books - especially on long car journeys.

Kindle - use it daily.

Bassetlover · 03/11/2022 18:50

A heated throw blanket, game changer!

glovepillow22 · 03/11/2022 18:53

My robot hoover. With 2 hairy dogs and a large open plan space it's a lifesaver.

Garmin watch, keeps me accountable and prevents too many lazy days

My fortis field smock jacket. A small fortune but I'm outdoors ALOT and it's warm, dry and my best purchase this year.

MarmiteCoriander · 03/11/2022 18:54

Potato ricer- I've never got some much water out of mashed swede and potato is so smooth

An oxo peeler with a thick handle. So comfortable to use.

Piggypiggyoinkoink · 03/11/2022 18:55

My Eufy, and my tongs for getting toast out of the toaster. They were about £3 on Amazon and I really need to buy a back up set!

BobbysGirly · 03/11/2022 18:59

Imamumgetmeoutofhere · 03/11/2022 16:28

An Oodie, an official one. So warm and no need to put the gas on yet.

An Apple Watch was bought for me as it's allowed me to keep track of steps, heart rate, tracking food and drink and sleep. Generally helping me in getting better.

Yes I’m happy to get my Oodie out now too.

You have an AppleWatch. I have a Fitbit. It really does motivate me to get up and moving. I love it ♥️

Flaunch · 03/11/2022 19:01

Our coffee machine - was a reconditioned return from Amazon and £60 and we’ve used it multiple times every day for 2 years or more.

My metal detectors - it’s a brilliant hobby which brings me enormous pleasure.

Our dog. Bought as a puppy in the peak covid puppy crazyness. £1500 for a lurcher 😱 but genuinely the best money I’ve ever spent ❤️

MintyGreenDreams · 03/11/2022 19:03

Armani luminous silk foundation. Not ridiculously expensive, doesn't settle in lines and lasts ages.

GiantPiggyCages · 03/11/2022 19:04

A bean to cup coffee machine

gettingolderbutcooler · 03/11/2022 19:04

Coffee machine!

Squirrelsnut · 03/11/2022 19:05

No 7 Stay Perfect mascara. It's a tubing formula and, after decades of horrid panda eyes by lunch, my mascara is now bullet-proof AND easy to remove. Love it.

Spanielsarepainless · 03/11/2022 19:19

My Labrador dog
Mobile 'phone
Kindle
Various paintings I have collected
Lovely Cross fountain pen with which I write everything.

NewNormalLife · 03/11/2022 19:20

My Samsung American style fridge freezer. More specifically the 'beverage center' it has behind a separate secret door which has a jug of filtered water that automatically refills. We use it so much. Also love that the top fridge part is double width so we can put massive trays etc in and the freezer has the two bottom sections with so much space.

JeanMarie · 03/11/2022 19:20

Parlux hairdryer......shower to styled in under 5 minutes.
Slow cooker....recent purchase and love , love ,love it!
Clinique Lash Impact mascara....perfect sized brush...hate those big bog brush mascara wands. Lovely long actually separate lashes...not the usual clumpy mess.
L'oreal lipstick in Copper Clutch. I've spent over 15 years looking for my perfect shade. My go to, Bobbi Brown's Redwood, was discontinued and the Loreal one is a perfect dupe....so I bought four.😁
