Waitrose own Cranberry sauce
Coconut and lime ice cream
Waitrose dishwasher cleaner
Sparkling Shiraz but I have to get my friend to get that delivered.

BitterGreen · 22/10/2022 17:59

Their piccalilli is amazing

Ariela · 22/10/2022 18:00

Make sure you check their reduced aisle, all too often you find something you've always fancied trying and if the timing is right it's well below half price, sometimes pence!

Anjo2011 · 22/10/2022 18:02

Their essentials range is great value and good quality.
Baked Beans
Tinned spaghetti
Biscuits
Loo rolls

Waitrose No.1 Ice Cream, especially the chocolate one.

Smoked salmon

Salmon terrine

Any of their Essential laundry products.

Waitrose own brand wine.

If vegetarian/vegan, things from the deli aisle.

Their Pure toiletry range used to be great value and quality, but think it's been discontinued.

Forgot to mention their own garlic mayonnaise is pretty good.

MrsMitford3 · 22/10/2022 18:03

I really rate waitrose essentials range-always get the italian balsamic dressing

The big fat fish fingers on the fish counter

Burford brown eggs

cesar salad

turkey mince

table salt and cornish sea salt crystals.

Am still sad ocado is partnered with M&S but I do walk to my waitrose far too often.

aghostinthethroat · 22/10/2022 18:53

Their cinnamon buns! Clearly popular as they're all gone if I'm too late in the day at our local. Nice and fluffy and not sticky sweet.

The baked Basque cheesecake, although they don't seem to always have it in.

Sherry - good price and lovely flavours.

Oh! And their scotch eggs are the nicest supermarket ones.

MuddlingThrough1724 · 22/10/2022 19:09

I always buy the Isey Skyr Baked Apples Yoghurt - is delicious, and I've yet to find anywhere else that sells it!

witchesbubblebath · 22/10/2022 19:30

I'm an occasional shopper too.
I rate the steak pie and I go for the reduced sour dough and pastries at the end of the day

FairlyIncognito · 22/10/2022 19:48

I love Tim’s Dairy yoghurt- vanilla one amazing but they all are. I go especially for that.
i also can’t resist their potted shrimps which are definitely a luxury for a tiny pot.

Have you tried the frozen fish fingers? I find them even better than the ones in the fridge.

surreyisik · 22/10/2022 20:22

Dutchy bread flour= but I will hate you if you find any as the 2 nearest branches haven't had any for weeks, but they keep sending me £1 off vouchers each week.
Waitrose number 1 icecream- especially the coffee. And the chocolate dipped cones ( wish they still did the coffee Magnum equivalents.)
Venison meat balls
Venison burgers- but they have just jumped up in price
Carrot cake - Sainsburys TTD chocolate cake is better though
Celery hearts
Essentials frozen berries.
Pesto
Lasagne verde- but haven't seen any for ages

SenoritaNaturista · 22/10/2022 20:59

Toilet rolls for sure
4x triffles - no gelatin so suitable for veggies
Essential store cupboard staples generally very good value and the review ratings are generally accurate which helps

Crikeyalmighty · 22/10/2022 21:43

We shop in Waitrose as standard now but I aspired to do this for years!

Before I met DH and lived alone in a house I broke the bank to afford I would only every go in to Waitrose after a bad week at work and it was ALWAYS for their own brand ice cream! The coffee and white chocolate ones are divine and they do some great limited edition ones too!

IScreamMonday · 22/10/2022 21:59

Hate to admit it as a republican but Duchy Original chickpeas are excellent for recipes where they need to stay firm. Their quick cook bean soup mix is a good standby. As is the spinach and feta pie someone else recommended. Like the fact they stock good quality burrata, mascarpone etc. Also like their fresh mussels and excellent wine offers.
M&S do much better sourdough though.

HundredMilesAnHour · 22/10/2022 22:03

Vogel sliced wholemeal bread (it's the only place that sells it near me)

Own brand aloe vera toilet roll (much better quality than any of the supermarkets or Andrex)

Own brand speciality raspberries

Freshly made vegetable gyoza
