Anyone else totally wiped out by Covid jabs?

Had my 4th on Monday.

Still got temperature, headache, wobbly legs.
The other 3 put me out of action for a week each time, as this probably will.

Yet when l had Covid l felt crap for a day. No temperature, no wobbliness.

But each jab seems to destroy me😟

I had my 4th jab yesterday (2x AZ, 1x Pfizer, and Moderna yesterday).
I've been feeling rough for the last 24 hrs. Really cold with a high temperature, achy muscles, sleeping on and off all day, heart rate really high. I'm in bed and really sweaty and hot now. Hopefully it will ease off tomorrow.

My first jab floored me for a week or so...
Just had my fourth the other week - it and the 2 others before it were fine.

Not had 4th as not eligible yet but all 3 of mine (and I was pregnant for 2) have been fine. My parents have just had theirs and for 3/4 they’ve been horrendously ill. The only one that didn’t make them ill was the first.

I've had annoying symptoms both times, after 3 & 4: sniffly, lots of mucousy coughing, croaky voice. The flu jabs and Covid 1& 2 didn't affect me. It's not enough to put me off having any more, but it isn't much fun either.

I had the 4th jab (Pfizer as we're the others). I was fine until late afternoon then my arm became so painful I could barely move it. It wore off over a couple of days. I googled it and apparently the painful arm means your immune system is doing a good job. Nice to know I suppose!

I'm ok today just tired

My bugbear is with the amount of solution in the tests

Wish you could buy a larger amount separately as it seems to evaporate

I had my booster this morning. Just feel a bit tired and headachey. The vaccine person said the boosters don't have as much in them as much as the original jab.

MinervaTerrathorn · 23/10/2022 16:06

@ArseInTheCoOpWindow Are you feeling any better today?

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 23/10/2022 16:23

lt got worse and worse until l was too weak to walk at all. Scary.

Ended up in A andE, a bit better today but still very weak.

l had post viral fatigue a week after my last booster which was Moderna. I attributed it to something else. I was ill for 5 months. And it seems to have happened again.

But of course it’s all in my mind 🙄

Covid gave me a week of tummy aches and 1 day of all over aches. A jab makes me I’ll for months.

@ArseInTheCoOpWindow
That must have been very scary. I'm glad you are a bit better today. I hope you recover quicker than last time 💐. Hopefully these side effects will start to be acknowledged and taken more seriously.

That sounds scary OP. It does seem that for some people, having the vaccination is worse than having Covid.
