What can you not buy as you will just eat it all in one go?

Biscuits, especially M&S all butter or chocolate Viennese biscuits. I dunk them in tea and they are just gone.
Ben and Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream. I only buy it twice a year as I can eat it in one sitting (just did.)
Maltesers. Share bag or even better the little box. I can’t stop until they are all gone.
I wish I could buy food like that and just eat it over a couple of weeks, like one or two biscuits a day.
Fortunately I’m not a crisp person so can completely avoid snacks like that.
What do you try to avoid buying as you just won’t stop eating it?

Nice shortbread. 1 piece or 1 kg? I'll eat it. Grapes, same.

@dawnfromgavinandstacey nooo keep me away from truffle honey. M&S also does a fantastic truffle cheddar that someone provided at book club. I'd forgotten about it until right now !

Cheese, crackers, breads, dips and all the paraphernalia that comes with it.

Bacon fries.

Salted or dry roasted peanuts.

Salted cashews.

I still buy them all though- I'm not going to be on my deathbed wishing I'd had more of the stuff I loved. (I'm a salty, savoury fiend- I do not have a sweet tooth!)

blametheparents · 19/10/2022 19:46

Garibaldi biscuits.
I don’t like to break them up so you have to eat a whole slab!

Twigletgirl27 · 19/10/2022 19:48

Crisps....any and ALL the crisps....
Marmite peanut butter, marmite cheese, marmite crisps, marmite flatbread, twiglets.
Any sour jelly sweets.
I need all the above now!

Nuts. I amazed myself by making a small bag of brazils last several days . I kept them in the car and rationed myself to 4 on the way home from the dog walk.

RoachTheHorse · 19/10/2022 19:55

LaLoose · 19/10/2022 20:10

Have you tried the M&S Marmite and cheese rolls? I am disciplined… except to the draw of these. I will eat all 4 in a day. And they’re big.

The round lump of President butter with sea salt crystals. I am currently eating slices like cheese. I'm not even hungry. I will not be buying it again as I appear to be absolutely powerless to resist the buttery salty goodness.

blocachoc · 19/10/2022 20:14
