What can you not buy as you will just eat it all in one go?

Biscuits, especially M&S all butter or chocolate Viennese biscuits. I dunk them in tea and they are just gone.
Ben and Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream. I only buy it twice a year as I can eat it in one sitting (just did.)
Maltesers. Share bag or even better the little box. I can’t stop until they are all gone.
I wish I could buy food like that and just eat it over a couple of weeks, like one or two biscuits a day.
Fortunately I’m not a crisp person so can completely avoid snacks like that.
What do you try to avoid buying as you just won’t stop eating it?

Hunky Dory Sour Cream and chive crisps...they're utterly irresistible as far as I'm concerned Grin

Mozzarella. Even more so if I can have it with Parma ham

Coconut ice and yoghurt covered brazil nuts.

Crisps. Family size bag lasts me around 15 mins and I get a sore mouth but still gotta finish em.

ferneytorro · 19/10/2022 18:30

Peanut butter and lemon curd. It goes nowhere near bread, spoon in straight from the jar.

Jazzydrops · 19/10/2022 18:30

And multipacks of twix

Jazzydrops · 19/10/2022 18:31

And Nutella. I eat a spoonful every time I go into the kitchen!

BaggiesBride · 19/10/2022 18:32

Toffifees. Lethal.

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 19/10/2022 18:35

Aldi’s fruit and nut chocolate. The only thing that still tasted like real chocolate! I insist DH shares with me as I think the bars are 200g and that is a lot of calories but I can’t put it away for another day 🙈.

SunshineLoving · 19/10/2022 18:35

Same as a pp...crisps especially when I'm drinking wine. If I get a share bag, I'll want to eat them all.

I don't have a sweet tooth but anything salty/carby, I want loads of it.

Ohsugarhoneyicetea · 19/10/2022 18:35

Salami, and Chilli Heat Wave Doritos which are food crack

TimetohittheroadJack · 19/10/2022 18:36

I’d add the spicy rings (like onion rings but not onion) crisps you get in Lidl. They are so spicy they give me a sore mouth, but still finish the packet

Tulipomania · 19/10/2022 18:36

Lotus Biscoff spread. I bought it once and can never have it in the house again.

ChronicOverthinkr · 19/10/2022 18:36

Peanut butter. Will eat straight from the jar with a spoon like an animal.

Aldi Christmas Florentines. No point buying them ahead of time as will eat them all

This would be me too! I saw them in Aldi recently but they were over three quid.

I usually wait until after Christmas when they are likely to be reduced, one year they were 90p a pac

weemouse · 19/10/2022 18:39

McVities Cheddars, doesn't matter if it's the big ones, mini ones, it is like crack to me

Justcashnosweets · 19/10/2022 18:39

Packets of sliced italian salami

Thomas Fudge's dark chocolate flapjacks. I just had to stop buying them Blush.

Huntswomanonthemove · 19/10/2022 18:41

Another vote for Maltesers.

Toffeewhirl · 19/10/2022 18:42

Oh yes, Maltesers too. Even a boxful.

BookHermitBlack · 19/10/2022 18:43

Chocolate raisins (but they're fruit is my excuse!)

cobblers123 · 19/10/2022 18:45

4 custard tarts from Aldi, can never just eat one or even two, has to be the whole box.

It does take me all day though.

starsinyourpies · 19/10/2022 18:47

M&S truffle pesto Blush spooned straight from the jar
