What can you not buy as you will just eat it all in one go?

Biscuits, especially M&S all butter or chocolate Viennese biscuits. I dunk them in tea and they are just gone.
Ben and Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream. I only buy it twice a year as I can eat it in one sitting (just did.)
Maltesers. Share bag or even better the little box. I can’t stop until they are all gone.
I wish I could buy food like that and just eat it over a couple of weeks, like one or two biscuits a day.
Fortunately I’m not a crisp person so can completely avoid snacks like that.
What do you try to avoid buying as you just won’t stop eating it?

Salt and vinegar Pringles
salty cashew nuts
roast beef and horseradish crisps
salt and vinegar squares
salt and vinegar discos
salt and pepper baps from Morrisons

so anything salty really.

You can keep your biscuits, cakes and chocolate!

Nuts, especially cashews and those lovely almonds that Lidl sell at Christmas. Totally addictive

Anything high in both fat and sugar is not safe.

Lidl's Mini Stollen. I swear they're laced with opium or something equally addictive.

I bloody love these. @WalkingThroughTreacle

Good coffee and a pack of these - bliss

ElrondsEars · 19/10/2022 18:55

Chocolate fingers vanish around me, and I dare not buy the pouches of Snickers peanut butter cubes 🤤

Olivetreebutter · 19/10/2022 18:56

Lemon and sultana scotch pancakes. I eat the entire pack in the car before I even get home.

Crisps (especially cheese and onion or paprika)
Salty liquorice - that can literally kill you if you overindulge. I normally just buy a small packet now or chuck most of it away.

ThreeRingCircus · 19/10/2022 19:07

M&S Ready Salted combo mix crisps. Look unassuming in the packet...... they're a class A drug in crisp form.

Also rubbish crisps like onion rings, wotsits and the roast beef flavour monster munch.

Basically all the crisps!
