Fuck! I'm high. NORMAL?

So I got high as a teen by smoking it. Never smoked if for 15 odd years. Recently started using edibles for pain (I have lupus). No worries. Taken half a few times. Starting taking whole ones about 2 weeks ago, last one Friday. Took one about 7pm tonight and felt good but fine, pain helped, as usual. But then suddenly as of about 9pm I am SO FUCKING HIGH. Like, SuperHans-high. I've eaten about 12 penguins bars and a six pack of veg crisps meant for the kids packed lunch. My husband is here and thinks this is HILARIOUS. I'm headed for the whole block of cheese in the fridge door and laughing my arse off at Gavin and Stacey on iPlayer.

Is this normal? I've never had this while taking edibles before for the past month or so.

I successfully used the myedibles site and the gummies arrived this morning. I paid via an app.
Now i just have to work up the courage to try them out, especially after Crumpet's experience, above.
I was going to have a quarter of a cube. Perhaps I'll just try a nibble -- it's been more years than I care to count since the last time I had a J. (university, first year, of course)

Be careful! I don't think they're as low dose as they say they are, and I don't think they're 'just' weed tbh.

What strength do they claim to be, in mg of THC and CBD?

I'm in Canada where it's legal and so have edibles quite often and I still find as little as 2.5mg of THC has a noticeable (in a good way) effect on an empty stomach.

Oh hang on, no, that’s high dose. So to speak. Low ones are 6mg, it says on the website.

6mg isn't a low dose if you're not used to ingesting any THC. You'd probably want to start with no more than a third of that amount, first time.

Yes, that's a really high dose. My DH only takes 10mg at a time and that'd floor me.

You should probably start with a tenth of a gummy 😆

Problem with that, though, is going to be if the THC (active ingredient) isn't evenly distributed. I doubt they're as careful in the manufacturing process as the regulated producers over here.

I did that. Still went very very wavy.

I bought a bag of the high dose gummies from my edibles.

I cannot work out how much to try.

Usually I just use 3.5 gram of the vital ingredient in a brownie mix that makes 16 portions.

What is the equivalent to in one of the 25mg gummies?

Anyone any idea?

Off the back of this thread I ordered a pack of the high dose gummies from Myedibles…they’ve arrived in good time and look (& smell!) authentic. I’m a frequent smoker with a bit of experience with homemade edibles and I’m going to try 1/4 to start.

I’m curious as to what it is that people think these have been made with/laced with if not weed/THC? Surely smells like strong weed to me!

My friend said the low dose gummies didn’t do much at all for her, but she did have a good night’s sleep after taking one (and ate half the kitchen) so maybe they did more than she thought.
