Fuck! I'm high. NORMAL?

So I got high as a teen by smoking it. Never smoked if for 15 odd years. Recently started using edibles for pain (I have lupus). No worries. Taken half a few times. Starting taking whole ones about 2 weeks ago, last one Friday. Took one about 7pm tonight and felt good but fine, pain helped, as usual. But then suddenly as of about 9pm I am SO FUCKING HIGH. Like, SuperHans-high. I've eaten about 12 penguins bars and a six pack of veg crisps meant for the kids packed lunch. My husband is here and thinks this is HILARIOUS. I'm headed for the whole block of cheese in the fridge door and laughing my arse off at Gavin and Stacey on iPlayer.

Is this normal? I've never had this while taking edibles before for the past month or so.

Oh FGS. I am trying to live a healthy lifestyle and now this is all I want, for all the bad reasons.

I have, in the past 'laughingly' asked the teens where one may procure some edibles and the like.

The answer was Snapchat 😐

I hope this helps anyone reading this, considering my Snapchat contacts consist of my own immediate family and my two (also peri menopausal) best friends, it didn't really help me.

I had this a couple of weeks ago with a gummy to help me sleep (from America so small amount of THC in). It was awful! I was off my rocker! I knew I was high but I was paranoid. My mouth was so dry and then I was giggly and then starving. Could barely stagger downstairs to sweep the contents of the cupboard into my mouth. The whole thing least about 5 hours. My mind was going that fast I got no sleep at all!
Haven’t had another since. Wasn’t a pleasant experience at all.

Snapchat and insta, for plugs. I have 2, a woman I know from my sister, a taxi driver guy who I got chatting to.

Edibles are food with cannabis in. Chocolate/sweets/cake, someone I know makes a great curry with it

I used them a lot whilst I was having chemotherapy, got me through treatment.

I always remember being so high in Amsterdam whilst sitting next to a mirror - I thought my head was shrinking and my eyes were popping out. It was hysterical 😂😂😂
