Fuck! I'm high. NORMAL?

So I got high as a teen by smoking it. Never smoked if for 15 odd years. Recently started using edibles for pain (I have lupus). No worries. Taken half a few times. Starting taking whole ones about 2 weeks ago, last one Friday. Took one about 7pm tonight and felt good but fine, pain helped, as usual. But then suddenly as of about 9pm I am SO FUCKING HIGH. Like, SuperHans-high. I've eaten about 12 penguins bars and a six pack of veg crisps meant for the kids packed lunch. My husband is here and thinks this is HILARIOUS. I'm headed for the whole block of cheese in the fridge door and laughing my arse off at Gavin and Stacey on iPlayer.

Is this normal? I've never had this while taking edibles before for the past month or so.

Thanks anyone kind enough (or high enough) to answer.

No, selling/buying edibles is illegal and our border protection is very strong, so if you order from somewhere else the risk of being caught is huge.

Hi @Kapalika, I’m going to try some of my goods from Dank this evening. I’ve got a brownie and some fudge. I don’t remember seeing any details of how much active ingredient is included. I wonder if you’re able to give me a steer on how much to start with.

Thanks @AlphaAlpha, I had a quarter of the fudge slab on top of what I smoked and I’m still feeling it this morning!

In case anyone would like to hear how I’m getting on with the fudge.

Last week, I tried a quarter of a slab after I’d smoked a bit. I didn’t find it particularly enjoyable, I went straight to my final stage which I call jellyfish (because I’m unable to do very much at all), but I skipped all the prior stages, which I prefer.

So tonight, I tried an eighth of the slap and no smoking beforehand and it’s absolutely spot on for me.

I placed an order with Dank, but now they’re asking for more money for delivery which they claim they will refund when I receive the goods. I have a horrible feeling I’ve been ripped off…. :(

There appear to be an awful lot of Dank bakeries around, and some of them are total scams. Be careful…a MNer on this thread recommended one with a instagram link that works via telegram. All a bit complicated, but it did seem legit, with a lot of active users.
Perhaps a bit stupidly (I’m a trusting type) I took their word for it and placed an order, and paid. Now they’re demanding £80 “account handling” and claim I’ll get it back post-delivery. Yeah right.

To help others avoid the same issue: dankbakeryuk and dankbakeryuk_ are the two accounts on Instagram (green & white logo) and the Telegram chat is run by a Mr Tanner. Avoid!
Going to chalk this down to experience…honestly, you’d think that by my age I wouldn’t be so naive.
