Fuck! I'm high. NORMAL?

So I got high as a teen by smoking it. Never smoked if for 15 odd years. Recently started using edibles for pain (I have lupus). No worries. Taken half a few times. Starting taking whole ones about 2 weeks ago, last one Friday. Took one about 7pm tonight and felt good but fine, pain helped, as usual. But then suddenly as of about 9pm I am SO FUCKING HIGH. Like, SuperHans-high. I've eaten about 12 penguins bars and a six pack of veg crisps meant for the kids packed lunch. My husband is here and thinks this is HILARIOUS. I'm headed for the whole block of cheese in the fridge door and laughing my arse off at Gavin and Stacey on iPlayer.

Is this normal? I've never had this while taking edibles before for the past month or so.

I think you and your husband may have convinced yourself that you're way higher than you are.

For starters your typing is almost perfect and I've yet to meet anyone who eats that sort of volume of food when they've got the munchies.

There's different ways. I dont like having actual bits of it in food. I bake it spread out on a baking tray on low for 45 minutes until its a medium brown. Your house will reek.

Then grind/chop and add to butter, melt but don't allow to boil.

Then strain. And you have canna butter, you can use it in baking, in frosting, melted into chocolate.

@limitededitionbarbie how much of the vital ingredient? And is it green, rocky, pollen? Id been told it was better to make a butter/oil as just baking it makes it less effective, so I've never bothered but your recipe is simple enough even for me, and with the cost of my edibles it's tempting.
Asking even though I know I'll just smoke it if I buy it.

Dh got some edibles from a friend. 3 brownies for a tenner and he And his mate put together. I've had 1/4 of one and I'm fucked! I haven't got the munchies though. Yet.

Intrigued to know how they get away with selling this online to the UK market - any idea? Is there a legal loophole?

@Littleyellowbowl your recipe sounds amazing. A dessert in itself without anything added it sounds gorgeous.

I usually only add nuts, m and m's or reeses butter choc chips to pre mix batter.

I usually use 3.5g and whatevers left in my grinder/at the bottom of the tub. To one box of brownie mix. Also I add canna butter to icing sugar and have chocolate buttercream on top

I can only say off my own experience. I've not made canna butter for over 20 years. It may well be better.

I just googled a recipe on you tube. I've used the same one and It worked so I've just stuck with that.

There is a way to do it all at once in the slow cooker too to make the canna butter. I've never tried it

In my experience having an empty stomach before taking makes it come on fast and more intense than eating it with a fatty food/having a full stomach. I give my nan a quarter of a brownie with ice cream in the evening because pain patches were causing skin problems.

@limitededitionbarbie you could decarb in there but I don't think you'd be able to make the butter in there. The slow cooker way is I think butter and herb in a mason jar, in a slow cooker with plenty of water for 8 hrs on low. Something like that.

I find it's more potent after turning it into butter. If you can get your hands on hash you can add it straight to butter, infuse for 20 mins or so and its done.

Have you ever even been stoned? How did it effect your typing?
I have dabbled with weed for 18 years and never felt like I couldn't do something because I was stoned, certainly not something as simple as typing.
