I'll start...

I have a weird phobia of buttons and freak out every time I see one

My ed hates the button eyes in the film Coroline. She has a phobia of holes anyway and this is part of that I'd guess.

I have the weirdest and most awful phobia. When I have shared it with people in the past, I’ve had such a mixed response. Some kind and some very aggressive. So I don’t share it anymore.

But what I will say is that if someone shares a detail like this and you find it shocking, don’t judge or be spiteful 💜

Moths and butterflies here. Completely terrified. Mostly keep it quiet.

I used to be a heroin addict, nearly 20 years ago. It doesn't feel like my life looking back. It's like I was someone else.

@star674 I think it comes down to the texture? Like how they're crispier? And if it's a proper Butchers sausage, when you can see the twisted sausage casing and it kinda looks like the end of a candy wrapper or a Christmas cracker then I can't deal 🤢😂

I am a lot more iller than I let on. Even DH doesn't know the extent of my illness as he'd only worry. I smile, put on a brave face and make jokes about it, but really I'm screaming inside and want to offload to someone else with the same illness, of which I know nobody.

Totally nuts I know but I can.
The cheaper the metal the worse the taste... I can't use cafe cutlery and my cutlery has to have covered handles!

Iron, copper, steel... awful. Gold and really good silver I can just about tolerate!

After a year I’m slowly realising that I don’t think there will ever come a day where I don’t think about her. It’s all the time, I’m ok with that. But no one else knows.

Seeing a horse fall down makes me vomit. I cannot bare to watch the horse racing because I feel sick at the thought they might fall over.
Such a shame because they are beautiful animals to look at but the minute they start galloping I turn it off or close my eyes

I can't dance. Too inhibited. Often do at home but never when out. Yep, have gone through life avoiding situations where dancing is involved.

@MarieIVanArkleStinks totally understand this. I came to realisation I'm my 40s that I am a pantheist from a lifetime of very strong feelings that I couldn't put my finger on, but a deep and powerful connection to nature. I just knew I didn't believe the same as most folks. It was a real awakening. I wouldn't say I'm a witch, but sway towards the green one if anything. I keep myself to myself with it though, it's just who I am & I know no different, so I don't belong to any groups or preach about it. I do, however, raise my child to love and respect all life, so we rescue spiders, and worms etc It's a nice way of life 😊

I wish my user name was my life. I yearn for space travel. I take every opportunity to look at the stars and dream of being out there somewhere. Not on my own though. I want there to be life out there.

I'm not scared of buttons but I don't like them. I would rather wear clothes with zips on them. I remember being at playschool/school and boxes of buttons being there to play with and that made me feel funny. Same with coins 😂

But. I am petrified of four poster beds. I was terrified that we would get a four poster bed on our honeymoon. They are so overpowering and make me feel claustrophobic

@chosenone oh wow I do that too. I call them "scenarios", currently have one that I'm enjoying where I finally get to move house with enough space for me and the kids and a nice garden and meet a nice guy who doesn't creep me out. Any spare quiet minute I have I fantasise about it

I could probably be quite happy never leaving the house again in my life. Lockdown made me realise what an introvert I am and there is SO MUCH to do online and I can turn it off when I want.
