What would you have done? Street compliment

Today as I was on a crosswalk into the grocery store, a man waiting at the crosswalk in his truck leaned out and shouted "you look really nice today!"

Would you have:
a. Acknowledged compliment with a smile/wave/verbal comment like "thanks!"
b. Ignored him and continued walking in the store
c. Approached him and given him your number
d. Rude hand gesture

Depends on my mood...if I was in a good mood, I might say "thanks, I know!"

No smile but a thumbs up. Sometimes no acknowledgement is a sign you want to be verbally abused (apparently)

If not I’d have ignored him. It might a ‘compliment’ but saying it to stranger comes from misogynistic attitudes.

i don’t think any man who genuinely respects women would pull this shit, least of all expect a smile, wave and a thanks for it 😩
