You can just Google her pseudonym and see her face. For instance, here

I'm not sure if the next people she cons will know to do that though!

AlwaysGinPlease · 11/12/2022 12:40

@Theopossumwasmeantforme I agree. Her name and face should publicly shown to save future victims.

Thanks for the update. I remember this well and I am glad she is now being held accountable, for at least some of her behaviour and let's hope that other charges follow.

the accused had told her doctor that she was adopted and therefore could not prove that she was previously diagnosed with Huntington’s and so the doctor signed her application in good faith.

The above comment in the oress report surprised. Why on earth would a doctor sign off her claim for disability allowance without any evidence that she was ill. Surely he was negligent?

Some illnesses are not so obvious, and as a practiced scammer she surely knew how to fake some not-so-easy-to-check-quickly symptoms, so possibly this GP gave her initially the benefit of the doubt.

Oh my goodness, what an absolute twist in the tale. The latest episode of The Real Carrie Jade was only released last week and it seemed she was up to old tricks, finally the law has caught up with her.

New series about her called Bad Nanny on BBC player. She is an absolute psycho.

I'll be watching this, and I listened to one of the podcast series about her. When I look upthread I cringe as I completely took this person at face value! Such an aptitude for lying and fakery, she's a dangerous person.

QuebecBagnet · 19/05/2025 12:09

I watched the Bad Nanny program at the weekend. She was unbelievable. And it raised some interesting doubts about the death of her child

This is what disturbs me the most, she didn't harm anyone else physically. Yes what she did was bad and the financial and emotional impact on all those people was absolutely awful. But to possibly smother her own child on the day they were being adopted is just horrific , and how she said to others that the baby died having had a bad reaction to vaccines is sickening.

She really is, and so many people were taken in by her lies. All the trips she promised people to Lapland etc, she must have made thousands from it. The ladies from Dublin said they must have filled 5 planes full of people. All those people had paid deposits, some had paid "in full"

TitsInAbsentia · 09/07/2025 23:15

Only jut watching this now..so many people duped by her...crazy stuff when she is talking about taking children...

So Samantha's second name is Jade and their mother's maiden name is Carrie Williams? She didn't try very hard to find an alias name.

Is she really adopted?

Her claim to be using self invented voice adaptive technology on shows where she's speaking completely normally (having said she can't talk) is insane.

No, what really is insane is how easy it is to make people swallow total nonsense hook, line and sinker, as long as it's packaged as 'coming from a poor victim'

Critical thinking? - what was that strange word?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 14/07/2025 23:48

Fully agree @DaSilvaP and obviously this case is part of a much greater problem.
