Seriously the world has gone mad - a woman who is disabled is being sued by her air B and B guests for triggering them.

I've only read the first page of responses so far, I am going to read more, but I've seen the two videos on the first page and just sat shaking my head at the absolutely disgusting behaviour of these 'guests', not only were they offered their money back and a top-up to be able to afford a hotel but they refused and CHOSE to stay, surely, if this lovely lady's presence (in her own home I might add) was SOOOOOO triggering for them, why the hell did they stay? I suspect they knew exactly what they were doing and what they had planned. This is the height of CFery in my mind.

Damn it. Jumped to the last page to call it as bullshite and was not quick enough. The lack of the names of either set of lawyers ( public knowledge in a legal case) was what gave it away for me.

If this "Charlotte’s response to Jade’s review" is about the same story, then it gives a totally different twist to the whole saga.

IF this "Charlotte’s response to ..." is to be believed, then the whole story about "being sued for being disabled" would be a total fabrication.

That is not the kind of comments that you would get from someone "suing people for being disabled".

Before saying anything more, anyone reasonable would want to see FIRST the actual content of the actual "claim" - which court, which case number etc ...to be FIRST sure that there is actually any!

I didn’t realise that apparently she has early onset Alzheimer’s as well as huntingdons, if that’s true maybe it explains some of this.

There's a massive chance that netflix will make a documentary too, but I daresay it won't paint her in a good light.

Everything is deleted now. I had a search for her open on tiktok and when you click in it now it just says @O and there's no videos. Youtube gone. Her website is still up and still mentions Airbnb. www.1820things.com

I don't know what to believe if I'm honest. I don't think Maz is a saint at all. If she's wrong then a lady with a terminal illness has just lost her support. If she's right then I feel like a twat but I just think claiming it's all bollocks is harsh? I was on her live just now and it's all full of people sending her presents and subscribing to win a bag of sweets.

There’s definitely 2 people in particular on TikTok who seem to be having a great time with it, and posting / going live a lot about it.

If it is a scam, then I don’t see what she’s gained out of it? I know there was a petition but there doesn’t seem to be any money involved which would be the obvious gain…

It's clearly bollocks though. If it wasn't she would have had plenty of proof to post, comments from her lawyers, name the big American backers, Screenshots from the outrageous things she said the Airbnb bot was saying. As is, zero proof, lots and lots of mixed stories that seen to change from one video to another and the just total bullshis of some of the claims

But she's managed to sell her random sensory equiptmento to people on tiktok with her brief fame, so probably worth it for her and doubt they will see that equiptment.

That's terrible. Scammed (although, did someone say they had brought a sensory device upthread and received it?) and people have been inadvertantly helping her cause by highlighting her story, as they believed her.

It really wasn't obvious though in one video you could here banging and shouting from the people staying in her airbnb as she was doing tiktoks it did not sound pleasant at all

I caved and downloaded tiktok and found comments and videos from people saying they're waiting on a zoom call 🤷‍♀️ with her to finalise the things they've paid for. zoom fall is probably to shake more money from them.
