I home school my two teens.

Every couple of weeks I give them a conspiracy theory to look up, write a bit about, and give me their opinion on, and reasons for that opinion. It helps them with research and critical thinking (I hope).

I've done a lot of the obvious ones, New world order, 9/11, JFK assassination, some of the denial ones in WW2 etc.

I'm running out of ideas for other ones, preferably that incorporate history, geography etc, or just ones that are a bit out there or interesting.

This is an interesting one. I've just learned the other day, that it was a fake conspiracy theory deliberately started by young Americans to show how silly conspiracy theories are.

I wholeheartedly believe the Liz Truss one already, that has to be the only reason for this shitshow of a government.

We did a good topic of women in mythology and history who had been villified, but were actually justified not long ago, if anyone can think of any women who have been wronged in the history books as well 🤣

always thought it suspicious she was born in an ambulance crossing London - didn’t realise there were conspiracy theories

Talking about Diana not buried on that island, my late Aunt lived in the village and apparently it was well known she was put next to her father in the family crypt. Something to do with the island not being deep enough also they wanted to hold off visitors.

No idea if true or not!

I've never heard the Queen mother one, just looked at it quickly, I'm going to do this one along with my daughters and see what I think, looks interesting.

Diana is a good one too, so many theories to do with her.

I heard the 'real' Elvis was a homeless man who died fairly recently, and something about they spelled his middle name wrong on the original death certificate, this proving he wasn't actually dead and was, in fact, homeless for the last few decades.
