Did you feed the meat to the dog again, Shirley?

(Yes yes, I'm showing my age)

I like a glass of wine while I'm preparing the evening meal.....chips and egg 😉

In other news, at the decaff house tonight it's filled tortellini and pesto. Busy day so quick and easy

Deadringer · 28/09/2022 17:15

Cottage pie with carrots and peas.

ThreeRingCircus · 28/09/2022 17:33

Homemade pizzas (DDs have chosen BBQ base with cheese, chicken, sweetcorn and peppers.)

I try and make pizza dough in bulk whenever I can be bothered making it then portion and freeze....the dough freezes really well and then once defrosted and rolled out you can chuck any old toppings from the fridge on it and shove it in the oven. It's a good way of using up any veg/bits of cheese/meat you need to.

GladysGladioli · 28/09/2022 18:18

We're having honey and mustard chicken thighs tonight.

DP is making leek and mushroom crumble, we'll have some green veg, and I will tactfully check that she's cooking the elderly carrots that are flopping around in the bottom of the fridge. Poor woman is having to do everything atm as I'm not well.

PatienceOfEngels · 28/09/2022 18:20

Hotdog mushroom soup with macaroni and oven ciabatta. Wednesday night is always soup night here.

townofhull · 28/09/2022 19:11

I cooked green peas and rice, aloo keema, pan fried green beans, carrots and courgette.

Racingadmin · 28/09/2022 19:11

Maple bbq pork belly crisped up in the air fryer , steamed baby potatoes and broccoli

KittyCatsby · 28/09/2022 19:14

Been super busy today so just veggie burger in a bun and some onion rings.

Macaroni cheese with frozen peas added.

Sestriere · 28/09/2022 20:26

I’m in the train back from London, I had an M&S bang bang prawn poke bowl and a bag of crisps. Seven bloody quid for an average meal, I’m going to have a lovely curly wurly and cup of tea when I get home around 10pm

AlexandraPeppernose · 28/09/2022 20:43

Garlic sesame noodles

mamaduckbone · 28/09/2022 20:49

We had tuna kokoro bowl:
Pan fried tuna with brown rice, shredded carrot, cucumber, radish, Edamame beans, soft boiled egg, teriyaki sauce and sriracha mayonnaise.
It's a Wagamama cookbook recipe - dead easy and really tasty.

NumptiesIncorporated · 28/09/2022 21:39

Tonight I had Chinese chicken (in a home made sauce using soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger and sriracha for a little kick) with mange tout, baby corn and rice.

MrsPear · 28/09/2022 22:12

Tonight we had an extravagant dinner - fish pie with broccoli (seriously the price of fish!) - last night it was bean soup.

Decafflatteplease · 29/09/2022 13:48

Fake nandos here tonight. Chicken with the nandos seasoning sachet and baked in the oven (oven going on is a rare occurrence!) Plus airfryer wedges, and brocolli
