I love these thread for further inspiration.

I have a poorly household so made a hearty chilli (ish)-
Turkey mince 2% fat
Carrot
Celery
Onions
Courgettes
Spinach
Peppers .
Served with rice.

Hopefully lots of vitamins to make us all feel better!

Corned beef stew here

Cut and boiled the veg yesterday. Added gravy and Corned beef today when we got home so it was ready in 10 minutes

Pyjamagame · 26/09/2022 17:56

Sausage and apple plait, broccoli. carrots, stir-fried cabbage, homegrown courgettes with onion and garlic.

And to cancel out the veg, for pudding we will have honey cake and custard. The honey cake was made with our own honey and it turned out not very good but is salvageable with a lot of custard. I couldn't throw it away after all the hard work by the bees!

lucysmam · 26/09/2022 17:56

@wineandcheeseplease do you use a particular recipe, or a jar in your s.c.? I can never get a curry right in mine

MaMisled · 26/09/2022 17:57

Lemon x pepper mix on chicken breast and vegetable rice. It was, sadly, like chewing leather!

Blueberrycreampie · 26/09/2022 17:59

Duck legs (M&S) potatoes, carrots, peas and broccoli. Smells good!

IpanemaChic · 26/09/2022 18:06

Couscous with courgettes and red onion, veggie haggis and salad.

I’ve also made an Irish apple cake for pudding, a rare thing for a Monday!

Ooh thanks, I think there is a chance my kids might eat this too - 🤞 I love these threads!

We just had a sausage traybake with broccoli and cherry tomatoes (Rukmini iyer, from one of the roasting tin books) I thought it was yummy but kids only ate the sausages and moaned about the veg Hmm

Nugg · 26/09/2022 18:09

Sausage sandwiches after I get home from a gig later.

CorvusPurpureus · 26/09/2022 18:13

Easy pasta - sauce made from a punnet of cherry tomatoes, a red pepper & garlic, all mandolined then cooked off with a dried habanero chilli, a dollop of tomato puree & a mug of veggie stock whilst the pasta cooked. Wodge of kiri cheese stirred through to melt in at the end.

Boring but tasty & there's packed lunch leftovers.

Sore mouth, I needed something soft!

teaisready · 26/09/2022 18:14

Bosh chilli with rice, nachos and sour cream. Even DS ate it! No pudding, too full though might eat a bit of chocolate while watching ghosts later
