Petition launched to axe Holly and Phil from this morning

Just read a petition has been launched to axe H and P from This Morning.Will you be signing it?

People do just sign petitions though, people that signed probably signed others as well, it's not something I have ever done myself for anything as it doesn't really make any difference.

Yes I can imagine there are the 'petition signing' people that go looking for them. I don't think I have ever signed one.

I also don't care and not signing - I don't know anyone who will to be honest it's madness.
So people spent hours queuing to see someone from a family that decided they are far more important and far more superior than everyone else BUT you want to cancel two celebrities who believe they are more superior than you? Someone make it make sense!

It's strange that they didn't send Josie or Alison who generally do those sort of reports

I haven’t signed and I won’t either but I am tired of seeing this argument everywhere. People understand the queens importance in society and they accept it. Those people who queued to see her are presumably royalists who support the monarchy. Not exactly the same with Phil and holly is it. People are pissed off with them behaving like they’re more important than everyone else. And I know, press queue etc but that’s not the issue here, I’m simply responding to the point about the hierarchy and superiority

I think it's a combination of the lying about it (no camera, did walk past the coffin etc) and the fact that the knives are sharpened due to the way they treat the crew and the injunction about the runner on the show.

I think colleagues have been waiting for an opportunity and this happens to be the one that has presented itself.

The company they work for said it was for work.
They are celebs like the Royal Family so if that''s the sort of thing you idolise I can't see why it's a problem for other people deemed more superior to have the privilege not to queue . . .

I don't know the press seem to be gunning for them especially that NASTY Dan Wotton, they keep stirring the pot with daily minor stories, Same with Megan. Honestly it's awful have they learnt nothing from Caroline Flack.

Dan Wootton is just something else. These are all horrible people - especially Angela Levin. People are lapping it up so they make money out of it. It won't stop.

I'm going round in circles with my opinion on this.

Where is this film they say they were invited to film? If it's what they showed on This Morning then it shows the viewer absolutely nothing that the live streams didn't show, does it? They had a chat about the experience outside, but I honestly don't see why they or any other broadcasters, should have been given a VIP pass inside.

I think P&H should have declined the offer, which who knows, they may have done initially, but TM as a programme should never have asked them to do it, so I think my issue is more with them and ITV in general. Lots of people who used to work on the programme are coming out to say that it needs a massive re fresh and shake up!

Cant stand either of them!! But I'd never sign a petition because I think pile ons are cruel.

Haven't signed the petition but I do think it's the only way ITV might absorb the message that P and H are not popular with the viewers that it is trying to engage. I wouldn't call people who have signed it, stupid - that's just rude! The petition is serving a purpose in letting ITV know that sweeping unsavoury behaviour under the carpet isn't okay with viewers!

They did this article to blatantly queue jump. They NEVER do roving reports. What did they show? A chat with 3 members of the public and a man painting? Whoppee doo. Was it worth it?

I'm gunning for Phil certainly. Holly's a numpty, but theres no law against that, so she can keep her job I guess. But if this is the thing that gets rid of Phil after his ridiculous 'coming out' story and the injunction against talking about his horrible relationship with the very young man working on the show, then good.

Really though, ITV and H & P should have just said 'ITV were just there filming/covering it all, and we tagged along. Really sorry if we offended anyone - we didn't mean to jump the queue. Didn't even realise we had!' It would have all died a death the next day (probably.) If they had been HONEST.

Denying it, and claiming they were there as 'journalists' has just made them look like liars now. As I have said already (on this thread I think.... I can't remember as there are so many about them now!) where is the film footage/the work they did there IF they were there as journalists?

But yeah, the witch-hunt needs to stop now. And anyone who signs that petition for them to go BECAUSE of this is an arsehat frankly. Get a life.

I can't believe the press are still dragging this story out and trying to bring them down. Absolutely awful. Im not a huge fan but it is a witch hunt.

Can't be Britain if we aren't trying to hang someone at any given time. It's become the norm.

It's awful. They won't be satisfied until they have been sacked or one of them breaks and takes their life. They have learnt nothing from Caroline Flack. I'm not a fan of MM but the way the media have treated her is disgusting too. They are literally hounding them. The treatment of female celebs also seems alot worse too. How about Ant P drink driving and crashing surely that is alot worse then jumping a flipping queue.

Nearly 80k have signed this now and they've still not admitted any wrong doing.

I think people need to get a life. Holly and Phil haven't killed someone FFS!

Don't like them, not interested in the program and never watch it - BUT - I hate this online hounding of people.

It's like the fucking Middle Ages and these things need to be dealt with in a proper adult way.

I can't believe the uproar surrounding these two and the petition signing. People need to focus on the more important things like the rising fuel and food prices.

@Bettyboo12 you can be in uproar about more than one thing at a time. Don't forget their vile spin to win game to win money off energy bills, they were basically laughing at the poor peasants. I cannot believe why they are so protected at itv.
