What a load of old toffee. I don't care if they did or didn't queue jump. They didn't murder anyone so they shouldn't lose their jobs. Whether it's time to replace them is a different matter, I don't watch it so I don't care about that either.

I highly doubt they made the decision to go themselves; it will have been the producer who arranged it.

People (online - and on social media and message forums especially) do LOVE to create a panto villain or two. Must be getting bored with JK Rowling ignoring them. So they're gunning for Phil and Holly!

I think a lot of people are sick of them especially as more stories come out about what they are like behind the scenes and how they treat people

This is being used as the trigger to finally get rid of them rightly or wrongly but unfortunately I think they are untouchable for some unknown reason

Whoever started this petition is being ridiculous. They skipped the queue for work reasons, and even if this hadn't been the case, it still isn't worth starting a petition about it. It is a non issue compared to some of the other injustices that go on in the world.

The “excuse” that they were filming a show but is ridiculous. Why did they need to be near the coffin? There’s plenty of footage of the Queen lying in state, they didn’t need those two to be poking their heads in the shot with the coffin.
Any other decent broadcasters would have refused to do it.

No, it's ridiculous, but I think that lots of people are just sick of the two of them and their 'hilarious' corpsing every other programme. I switch off if they're on.

Far more important things to get in a froth about.

I won't be signing the petition because 1. I don't watch the show, and 2. life's too short but the "excuse" was ridiculous and makes them look even more ridiculous than they did in the first place.

I think that a lot of people couldn't care less about the queue but just want rid of him because he's an odious little shit. I don't know anything about Holly other than apparently we all want to dress like her or something. I'm sure the world could do without the pair of them but maybe they're some people's special friends who make life worth living. Or something.

I think it’s not just about this, so many complaints about them all the time, people just don’t want them on the show, they ask for Ruth, Rylan, Alison etc. It’s been like this for ages and apparently the figures show it, they have some dirt on itv producers/bosses…or something, after all Philip has done and reports of them both being rude and mean, they surely would’ve gone a long time ago.
