Did Beckham do the whole queue? Imagine being next to him for all those hours , what a story to tell

I'm very glad to have done the queue throughout the night. It was bloody freezing cold, but to have been able to see all of our beautiful London landmarks lit up at night was magical. I watched the sun rise over the Houses of Parliament and that will be a memory (there are obviously many from the past 24hrs) that I will have with me for the rest of my life.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more famous faces in the queue so far.

I know there's been a couple but not as many as I'd expected..

a friend who is not remotely interested is now fascinated and wants to look at the queue. He lives in Zone 2 so he can easily bus in.

@IpanemaChic he has just got home, they ate then managed to get straight on the train which was handy, only 1.5 hrs on train so not too bad. He dislocated his knee 8 weeks ago so is a bit achy but OK other than that. He said they were glad they saw the guards change and that they bowed twice as did it too early so did it again 😂

Who are all the people waiting down the righthand side of the hall? I can understand those on the left in the "viewing area" but those in the right look like they've done their viewing and not left!

How many people just about to go in are probably going "I'll just hang on.. you can go in front" ?!

William and Harry are doing a similar vigil tomorrow, both in military dress.

I saw the Duke of Kent (the queen’s cousin).
