Duvet covers of the 80’s

Just looking at my dog sleeping on his bed & I'm reminded of the ‘snatch’ duvet cover I had in the 80’s.
Which then made me remember the cartoon worzel gummidge & aunt sally one I had.
The pillowslip had worzel one side & aunt sally the other. Sadly I can’t find a pic of it, did anyone else have it?
I also had a Victoria Plum one with matching curtains as a small child.

Any other classics I’ve missed?

My DD has my old Victoria plum one on now! Just the pillowcase bleached a bit from my quinoderm days!

And yes Angela Rippon the newsreader did invent Victoria Plum the character and write the books Smile

Can we just roll back even further in time to the early/mid 1970s? Really just so I, as a 55 year old over-grown child, can show off my prized pillowcase? My children fought over it when they were small but it survived. Anyone else got Magic Roundabout bedding, or are you all too young?!

I had a red with white dashes on it from habitat with matching curtains!
A white desk with red highlights from MFI

I only know this as clearing out my mums flat recently I found the photos

I had flower fairies all over the walls but not sure there was a matching duvet. Although once I was older it was peach faux rag roll all the way, duvet, walls, curtains......with lilac trim!

Ah @CockysGirl I had that duvet set and it totally scared and scarred me

I get upset at clowns, masks and painted faces. Think I must have upset my mother the day she got it for me

My older sister was married in late 70s and I got her bedroom. My parents redecorated in a fab cream and wine flowered range from Linda Beard and I got new white formica wardrobe and drawers from MFI

I also remember that some bedding and nighties were nylon and you could make lightening under the covers.

I still have my 1985ish My Little Pony pillow and duvet cover. It was my absolute pride and joy and is still so soft.

Around the same.time my older sister had a primary colours/triangles one and my brother had a grey one with a red and black sort of line design. Cool!
