What has mumsnet MADE you buy?

So when my almost one year old was a tiny newborn and I was up at ungodly hours I found myself on a thread which was something along the lines of what has mumsnet MADE you buy.

A load of people said a Eufy so I obviously brought one in my sleep deprived state. 😂 No regrets though!

So I thought I’d make another thread inspired by it to see if there’s anything else I should be buying!

A Molke bra. Never again will I buy something MNers say is good. Hideous, expensive, uncomfortable, unflattering.

Boredofmyself · 22/07/2022 16:04

Aldi skincare. Its was absolutely shit please don't bother.
I was discouraged about a neom diffuser pod but bought one anyway and I absolutely love it.

Cool Question’s individually wrapped wet face & body towels/wipes – it’s a proper large thin towel. Like the ones you get on airplanes and some restaurants. I always have at least one in my bag, they are just the best. You can wash and re use it for something else.

Korean Italy exfoliating cloths. Would have been great if only I had toddler sized hands.

😆😆😆 this!

Barrawarra · 22/07/2022 16:11

And so many other things. Stuff for camping. Most recently making me consider a whippet instead of a greyhound!

My big shouting day book - much loved.

This week, L'Oréal Dream Lengths Wonder Water to see if it would improve my nightmare hair.

Used it yesterday and it did definitely seem to make a difference.

Time will tell though ...

I like the feeling of the chemical reaction as it hits your hair.

I've just bought a Korean wash cloth from reading this thread BUT when I opened this thread I knew the OP would say Eufy. I can't decide if they are really good or the advertising team have lots of MN names.

Swear I’m not part of the Eufy marketing team 😂 long standing MNer. I just have a very hairy Labrador who malts like crazy!

Beauty advent calendars at Christmas.

Spanielsarepainless · 22/07/2022 16:53

La Roche Posay Serazinc. So cooling on my skin.

MintyGreenDreams · 22/07/2022 16:53

Those green exfoliating cloths.Milws better than bodyscrub and reusable.

Cherrysoup · 22/07/2022 16:55

Hot cloth face wash thing. I’m just too lazy to keep it up when I can just use my usual Clean and Clear.

mrsm43s · 22/07/2022 16:56

Of the top of my head...

Mutti tomatoes (brilliant, will never go back. Also love their premade pasta sauces)
Icey-Tek (So-so. A normal coolbox at quarter of the price would probably have sufficed for our needs)
Heated throw (bloody brilliant)
Cadac Safari Chef (pretty good)
Velvetizer (yeah I like, but completely unnecessary really)
Cheese making kit (rather love this, we use it often, was a xmas present to DH, suggested on a Christmas thread a couple of years back).

Next stop is a Ninja Air Fryer...

I am suggestible

naemates · 22/07/2022 16:57

The Lakeland heater airer is what brought me to mumsnet, mumsnet then made me buy an air fryer. Oh and the Babyliss big hair. And a Shark. And Footner.

Blush
Cherrysoup · 22/07/2022 16:57

Il Makiage foundation, but it’s too pale-my fault-and my skin has decided to react really badly to anything being left on it.

Cherrysoup · 22/07/2022 16:59

Also the Aircraft electric floor scrubber which is extremely effective but too much like hard work for the 20x10 kitchen.
