What has mumsnet MADE you buy?

So when my almost one year old was a tiny newborn and I was up at ungodly hours I found myself on a thread which was something along the lines of what has mumsnet MADE you buy.

A load of people said a Eufy so I obviously brought one in my sleep deprived state. 😂 No regrets though!

So I thought I’d make another thread inspired by it to see if there’s anything else I should be buying!

@Firstinlastout I have one of those - DH bought it and I wasn't best pleased. But, I love it! What don't you like about it? What are you trying to cook in it?

Neck Fan - I fucking love it. As another poster said, it's a game changer

I nearly had my arm twisted for one of these. I might do it for the next heat wave. I’ve been severely ill since Wednesday due to the heat.

Still trying to recover

A bloody Kitchen Aid! It’s crap and doesn’t mix properly! It’s now gathering dust in a cupboard taking up lots of space and my fabulous twenty quid hand mixer is back out doing the job properly! Thanks mumsnet! Grin

Period pants for DD1 - will arrive this weekend.

I was going to buy them for peri-menopausal flooding after reading about them on here, but I only had one episode of that lots of other symptoms before you think I got away with it. Antidepressants after anxiety made me ragey. Had to give up a new term-time job because me head was all over the place

Loads of things!
Babyliss Big Hair, good
Airfryer, excellent
Eufy, had made hoovering so easy!
Korean skin care, v good but a bit off a faff.
A holiday in Marakesh, stayed at a lovely riad recommended by someone on here
boots curl creme, works well for my frizzy hair
origins Vitazing, expensive but excellent tinted moisturiser.

probably more stuff, I trust pp on here more than magazine reviews, I've spent a fortune! 😁

Korean Italy wash cloths. They are good, especially on my feet in the bath.

Where do you get them from?

many moons ago - pre 2006 mumsnet had me buy a Panasonic bread machine

I used it a great deal for many years had homemade bread many mornings a week and didn't purchase bread from he supermarket. I even brought flour from a local mill 5 miles up the road

but then my daughter finished school and went to work in one of the best bakers in the county and I haven't used it since, as she brings home sourdough bread that is delicious - for 6 years ive eaten this bread

now dd is moving on and im going to have to get my machine out again, makes great pizza dough

A kitchen! From DIY Kitchens. It's great. Had better options and much cheaper than Wicked and Magnet.

Elbow Grease. It's just cream cleanser, which is a great product, but Asda own is just as good.

Zoflora.

Everyone seemed to be raving about it & I fell for it completely.

Never made it past opening the bottle as the stuff stinks.

A soup maker. I didn't really eat soup at the time so it was definitely Mumsnet's influence. Very pleased with it. I have lots of parsnip soup now. And I've realised I can make pasta sauce in it too, without it splattering up the walls.
