The trouble is, they've painted themselves into a corner by letting him stay on. It is ludicrous that, having said they couldn't work with him because he has no integrity, so many of them suddenly discovered that maybe they could manage for a few weeks longer. So inevitably he's still in the spotlight, he's their leader, they're going to have to field questions about him. If they had any sense of morality or even straight self-preservation they'd have seen this coming and booted him as soon as he resigned. As they didn't, they really should at least have the courtesy to answer those questions.
