Which singer/act or band do you regret never having seen perform live?

Is there a band or singer you'd love to have seen live but it just never happened, and it's unlikely you ever will see them now? Maybe the artist doesn't tour any more, they've passed away etc or you just don't think you'll ever get the chance.

I would love to have seen Stevie Nicks perform live. Her voice is captivating.

Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros. They actually had a gig in the town I was living at the time and I just plum forgot about it until it was too late.

It's got to be Queen.

DH says the Beatles.

Summersolargirl · 12/07/2022 16:07

Bruce Springsteen. I doubt he will tour uk or Europe again, and unlikely I’d go to thr states, I’d love to see him live.

absolutelynotfabulous · 12/07/2022 16:07

James Brown.

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 12/07/2022 16:08

Absolutely Queen.
And I had the chance to see Duran Duran but didn’t go - huge regret!

Badger1970 · 12/07/2022 16:08

George Michael. Robert Palmer.

Bruce Springsteen. I've recently fallen back in love with his music after loving him in the 80s.

abblie · 12/07/2022 16:09

Kings of Leon
Garth brooks

MissStarry · 12/07/2022 16:13

Prodigy, Doors, Hendrix (wasn’t yet alive for the latter 2, so had a good reason to have missed live shows!)

ShirleyPhallus · 12/07/2022 16:14

I saw stevie nicks a few years ago at the fleetwood Mac tour they did and it was a bit disappointing, all the old hits were there and brilliant but stevie’s voice has definitely faded a lot. Perfectly understandable but not the same as seeing her in her heyday.

George Michael for me, what a loss

KangarooKenny · 12/07/2022 16:14

Keith Moon

Dfg15 · 12/07/2022 16:15

Good news for the Spingateeners. He’s touring Europe next year. Tickets already sold in most places but UK dates not yet announced. Your time has come.

MMAMPWGHAP · 12/07/2022 16:16

But you are behind me in the queue

Floralnomad · 12/07/2022 16:17

The Eagles before the death of Glen Frey .

FeltCarrot · 12/07/2022 16:18

INXS and Queen

BurnDownTheDiscoHangTheDJ · 12/07/2022 16:18

The Smiths (see username) and The Beatles/John Lennon.

user1497207191 · 12/07/2022 16:18

Olivia Newton John. Didn't appreciate her talent in her peak which came to a premature end.

Laiste · 12/07/2022 16:20

David Bowie.

I had a slight panic that Stevie Nicks had died then OP! 😵
I see now that you meant she's past her prime.

Whichjobnow · 12/07/2022 16:22

The Prodigy. I actually had a ticket to see them a few months before Keith died but didn't go for various reasons, thinking 'there'll always be a next time' 😥(and yes I know they're still touring, but it wouldn't be the same!)
