I’m hot and bothered and I have access to an air conditioner fan. Won’t switch it on though because the cats in the room and she hates it.

She’s all chilled out, and relaxed so I don’t want to upset her and make her run

Dh don’t get my reasoning. Hmm

I have a piece of paper that I’ve left on the floor because the cat likes to lay on it.

I mean, I’m part lazy too but the man reason is because of the cat

We can’t close any doors in the house because the cat likes them all to be open at all times.

I go to bed when she tells me to.

Didn’t have ‘proper’ dog walks or speak to other owners for 10 years because the dog was stressed by other dogs. He was walked, obviously, but away from others and focused with a dummy/ball.

I've heard of this, it's a weird cat thing. During lockdown they started queuing outside shops because they were attracted to the distance markers Grin

I had house rabbits, and couldn't vacuum their room as one of them was terrified of the hoover.
The first three weren't concerned in the slightest. My big doe would sit there eating while l hoovered round her. Even liked the fluffy bits on her bum 'done'.
But then l adopted another one from a rescue. He had come from a breeder, he'd been a stud rabbit, so l imagine he'd been kept outside. He was even scared of the dustpan and brush, poor thing.
He eventually got used to that, but l wouldn't have dared go near him with the Henry.

I frequently lie horizontal to my pillows as the cats have the bottom of the bed

The other day girl cat was snuggled up to my pillow so I got in the other side

Speaking of boxes from Amazon, does anyone want to guess how long this box stayed on the floor in our living room?

The cat queuing article reminded me of this

I think that's about right. Once she got tired of sitting in it (and biting the bubble wrap), we tossed it. Smile

Cats and circles - yes! Mine likes to sit in this circular rust mark on our patio. Why do they do this?! It is very weird. And amusing.

@VenusClapTrap it gives them a sense of protection.

Although I'm not convinced the same theory is true of their insistence that they sit on your newspaper / work / homework!
