Embarrassing, silly character crush

I have been pretty down lately and I think that's probably the reason for this.

But I've developed a crush on a celeb, mostly a character he played, but him all round I suppose.

I know there's nothing wrong with a celebrity crush, a lot of people have them but I guess I'm just feeling silly about it. When I sit down to have a cuppa I find myself watching interviews, clips, my FYP on TT is almost exclusively him.

How do I snap out of it. I'm a grown mother FFS!

Just embarrassing.

It's totally normal. I do it all the time! Bit of fantasy never harmed anyone and keeps life a bit spicy when its mundane in reality

I had a massive crush on Keith urban a few years ago after seeing him and Nicole Kidman do karaoke in a car to his song 'the fighter' I played the bloody song on repeat constantly wishing I was Nicole!! My dd10 thought I'd gone mad!!

I'm in my 60s and thought I was past all this, then saw the BBC's North and South and now spend all my time writing furious fanfic about John Thornton and Margaret Hale. It's making me very happy, I had missed this dimension to my life!

DH thinks it’s funny. We were out on a walk and I said how much I loved a house.

My DH thinks it's hilarious I think,.. at least they have one similarity in that they both play D&D! I wonder if he would consider a curly wig and cut off denim jacket....

I think I win the weird crush prize - mine is Boris, the Slav King, from the "Life of Boris" channel on YouTube. He wears a ski mask and sun glasses so you can't see his face, a black and yellow tracksuit - and is a multitalented master of comedy. I'm obsessed.
