Embarrassing, silly character crush

I have been pretty down lately and I think that's probably the reason for this.

But I've developed a crush on a celeb, mostly a character he played, but him all round I suppose.

I know there's nothing wrong with a celebrity crush, a lot of people have them but I guess I'm just feeling silly about it. When I sit down to have a cuppa I find myself watching interviews, clips, my FYP on TT is almost exclusively him.

How do I snap out of it. I'm a grown mother FFS!

Oh I had that crush too when the books were first published.
I actually made myself mushroom pasta and red coke for tea after reading the diner scene.

Well, Eddie himself is supposed to be around 18, but Joseph Quinn is 29... which are you 8 years older than ? Actually, who cares, it's all good, crush on!

Well yeah. I did feel that was pretty yucky which is why I felt relieved when I saw he's actually nearly 30 in real life. (I'm 37)

But to be fair he doesn't look 18 at all does he? He very much looks his real age in ST.

I enjoy looking at Steve Harrington far more than I should 😅.

But my favourite crush was Ross Poldark. I miss those Sunday evenings.

Oh my goodness. Just found this thread. So glad it's not just me. Mine is soooooo embarrassing. They played Angie by the Stones on the radio last week, I am now totally consumed by passion for Keith Richards. So hot back in the 70s. Ive ordered loads of books by and about him. DH thinks I'm barmy. He's right of course. He doesn't know the full and hideous extent of my sudden interest though.

These things tend to pass. It sounds like a little harmless fun to me and who can blame anyone for such with everything going on at the moment.

I paid a ridiculous amount for his first solo tour for my 40th birthday but so worth it, I saw him a few times in 1D and then last month in Glasgow, should have been Wembley too but Covid got me.

I had a real thing for Jack Bauer (lead character in 24) for years, but felt not a thing for Kiefer Sutherland who played him. All about the character.

Ditto Brody in Homeland, but nothing at all for Damien Lewis.
