Embarrassing, silly character crush

I have been pretty down lately and I think that's probably the reason for this.

But I've developed a crush on a celeb, mostly a character he played, but him all round I suppose.

I know there's nothing wrong with a celebrity crush, a lot of people have them but I guess I'm just feeling silly about it. When I sit down to have a cuppa I find myself watching interviews, clips, my FYP on TT is almost exclusively him.

How do I snap out of it. I'm a grown mother FFS!

I've recently fallen deeply in love with Steve Harrington of Stranger Things. Not Joe Keery (who plays him), specifically Steve. I am far too old for this.

I'm 44 and I'm actually in love with Harry Styles, it's all good fun.

This was pre-DCs but after I saw Titanic back in the 90s (didn't even want to see it and got persuaded by friends) I developed a completely uncontrollable crush on Leonardo DiCaprio that lasted for over a year.

I realise now though that it was of course 'Jack' who I'd fallen in love with (along with the rest of the world...)

It's never happened to me before or since - that's the power of that film.

I used to do this all the time - Henry Cavill, Tom Ellis, James martin (in his younger days) , Pierce Brosnan (in his Bond days), Jamie Roberts, Mike Phillips (both Welsh rugby players 10 years ago) those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head! There have been loads more over the years.

Its one of my sad peri menopause symptoms that I don't have these crushes any more - even in my wildest of wild dreams there is nothing about me that would draw even a cursory glance from any man!
