Embarrassing, silly character crush

I have been pretty down lately and I think that's probably the reason for this.

But I've developed a crush on a celeb, mostly a character he played, but him all round I suppose.

I know there's nothing wrong with a celebrity crush, a lot of people have them but I guess I'm just feeling silly about it. When I sit down to have a cuppa I find myself watching interviews, clips, my FYP on TT is almost exclusively him.

How do I snap out of it. I'm a grown mother FFS!

Just embarrassing.

I watched Pet Shop Boys at Glastonbury and thought how much I liked Neil Tennant. Which was a surprise. Someone on the thread said how much they'd like to go antiques shopping with him, I thought that was great. Crushes can be platonic (plus he is gay). Maybe we could have afternoon tea.

Although I have started following Justin Hawkins (The Darkness) on You Tube and i think I'm stating to have a bit of a crush Blush

There's a good chance that some sort of vindication of Eddie will occur in the next series; I'm sure Dustin will see to it!

Also, I was wondering what happened to Enzo? I may have had a bit of a crush on him, too.

I don't have a crush on Neil Tennant but I saw them in Glasgow a few weeks ago and they were amazing, far exceeded my expectations.

Same. I'm putting it down to hormones but it's put a smile on my face. Fell in love with him over 30 years ago and it's rekindled after watching said film again. I've been told it's a weird one but looking online,glad to say I'm not alone. I love him in other movies too but one holds a special place ☺️

I paid a ridiculous amount for his first solo tour for my 40th birthday but so worth it, I saw him a few times in 1D and then last month in Glasgow, should have been Wembley too but Covid got me.

I have to admit that I was just so impressed with Joseph Quinn's acting in Stranger Things. He was really great as Eddie!

I get strange crushes all the time. I think it's pretty normal.

I'm with @WoodpeckerInTheTree my Kylo Ren crush probably did a lot to embed DS's Star Wars phase! OP your subconscious has noticed you're battling a bit at the moment and decided to bless your day with a little sparkle, hope things sort themselves out for you soon.

I had most of my daft crushes when I had 2 children under 3 and was virtually devoid of adult company!
Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer was my favourite but I liked Robert Carlisle in The Full Monty.
Don’t think I’ve had any new ones since Woody in ‘This is England’.
