A thing that you can get lots of other things for.

Yes, this.

So when my eldest was a baby we got a ver ver posh pram and it had loads of extras available. Accessories. I loved buying the little bits for it, I had a cup holder and special mittens.

Then when the kids were a bit older I got a tent and loads of extra bits - internal bedrooms, lights etc. Thing was we all hated camping so really the only joy was my setting it all up in the garden and playing with it.

Then I had a campervan, same thing, loved buying extras and laying them all out and reorganising. Apparently I’ve always done this with my toys and dollies since I was a child.

Now I’m in my 50s I need a new thing. I tried kitchen wear, it didn’t do it for me as I don’t like cooking very much, although I do feel more smug when I put my frozen dinners in a Le Creuset casserole dish.

Im fully aware I sound like a sad fucker but please indulge me. What else is a thing that you can get other things for. Also please don’t say a horse. I don’t want a horse.

Just because it hasn't been mentioned yet, and you noted your full bookshelf... Make bookshelf dioramas?? They can be incredibly detailed, you can theme them to your interests (obviously post a picture of your dildo themed on please) and seem slightly more manageable to display than a dollhouse?

You need a Cricut

I have 3 and it still doesn't feel like enough 🤦🏼‍♀️

I just googled “dildo diorama” and to be honest, I think I could do better.

OK I am half way through but surely - a Nintendo switch and ANIMAL CROSSING!

oh my god the joy of completion. You have to catch all the butterflies, all the fish, all sea creatures. But the key thing is, you can only catch them if they are around at that time In REAL LIFE! So sharks in the summer, but angler fish in the winter.

800 glorious hours and counting. Plus making your house nice.

I am ND and It’s a joy.

ditavonteesed · 23/06/2022 18:43

@EddyReadyGo tell me about animal crossing because I got it and seemed to run out of play very quickly without paying extra to join the online thing.

EddyReadyGo · 23/06/2022 18:52

@ditavonteesed

what what? You have to get the house with all the rooms, then you have to get the shops, and all the dinosaurs. You can make things to put in your house. You have to get all the different types of crazy wallpaper.

You have to give three of each species to the fishing guy and the bug guy so they make you a model of it.

And also shooting stars.............

RandomDentist · 23/06/2022 19:20

You are me OP. My most recent special interests are houseplants (I could open a shop), and learning a language. I finished the Duolingo tree in 8 months.

Planning/ bullet journalling. Alot of stuff you can buy to go with them. Check it out on youtube.

You sound like me. Interior decorating, gardening and cycling are my new go-tos.

I have a dream of my own wooden cabin in the garden .. in my dream Its a mix of beach hut/ cricket pavilion ( so has a verandah) .its also big enough for a bed ( which might be on a mezzanine) and has a compost loo and solar shower in an extension bit plus a sauna and a log oven/ smoker in another extension bit..

Obviously it has electricity for a wine fridge and kettle .
Just for me.. , though I might allow a cat to visit

As you can see , I have thought of this quite a bit already ... So much you could buy for it ...

I have friends who have something like this (the mazzanine version) in their garden. They rent it out on airbnb.

OP- if you like astrology- crystals?
