Not breakfast or lunch. Dinner / tea. Third (presumably last) meal of the day...

Sometime between 5 and 6.
Quite typical for most people that I know.
I love in the North West.

KirstenBlest · 25/05/2022 15:32

12 noon

loafandleaf · 25/05/2022 15:32

I aim for 5:15/30, because I have a toddler who goes up to get ready for bed at 6.

hellcatspanglelalala · 25/05/2022 15:33

Between 5.30-6.30 depending what we are doing.

SirenSays · 25/05/2022 15:33

Somewhere between 7 and 9 usually.

Either you are northern or you misread the OP Grin

Mrsjayy · 25/05/2022 15:34

Between 5.30 - 6.ish .

stackhead · 25/05/2022 15:34

Between 5-5.30 - nearly 3 year old DD who goes up for a bath at 6.

Longing for the days of a 6pm dinner!

chickyellowcute · 25/05/2022 15:35

I aim for between 5:30 and 6pm ish

ClaraTanging · 25/05/2022 15:35

Between 5.30 to 6.

7Worfs · 25/05/2022 15:35

5pm - we’ve got a toddler.
Prior to children around 7pm.

WhatHaveIFound · 25/05/2022 15:36

7pm, sometime a little later if one of us gets back in late from work as it's always a family meal.

dementedpixie · 25/05/2022 15:37

Depends
Dh plays football twice a week and takes ds to rugby training other nights so dinner is never very early. On a Tuesday for e.g. dh and I dont eat until after 9pm. Monday, Wednesday and Friday it might be around 8/8.30pm. Thursdays might 7.30ish.

The only days we eat earlier are at weekends

FuckingNoise · 25/05/2022 15:37

Ah cool, I've lost quite a lot of weight (2 stone) through various efforts and I've swapped dinner time from 6pm to 4/4.30pm. It was easier in the winter because I'd piss off to bed in the dark if I got hungry lol!

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/05/2022 15:38

8.30-9ish

maddy68 · 25/05/2022 15:40

About 9.30pm but no longer in the UK and everyone eats late here

Weepingwillows12 · 25/05/2022 15:40

8:30 /9ish usually. Kids eat 5:30/6 so I eat with them a few times a week and later after their bedtime on other nights. My ideal would be 7:30.

RandomQuest · 25/05/2022 15:40

7.30-8ish after the kids are in bed. They get hangry by 5.30 and I have no interest in eating that early, plus DH doesn’t usually finish work until 6.

withiceplease · 25/05/2022 15:41

9
Often with slippage to 930

Bloody hell. When do you go to bed? Has it worked

FuckingNoise · 25/05/2022 15:43

Can I ask those who eat so late? Do you not put weight on? No insult intended I am genuinely wondering!

OP posts:
GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 25/05/2022 15:46

Usually 7.30 ish.
Could be earlier now, but before dh retired he was never home before 7.

withiceplease · 25/05/2022 15:46

I think it's the calories rather than timing tbh. Usually go for a walk early evening or go out shopping or im at the gym.
Not put weight on - lost over a stone this year which I gained because I had a significant injury last year in RTA and was immobile for a long time.

Mrsjayy · 25/05/2022 15:47

Why would someone put on weight if they had dinner later ?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/05/2022 15:47

I wonder how those eating earlier don't get hungry at 9-ish or so! My parents used to have 'supper' then because their 5pm dinner was so long ago!
