I think you might be right OP, any bar from any song in Different Class and I'm immediately transported back to being 16.

Don't get me wrong, I hated being 16, but I loved Pulp.

I saw them at Shepherd's Bush Empire (or maybe Hammersmith Apollo..?) on my 16th birthday.

The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite was on the radio at work the other day. I was about to start off on "Ah Automatic for the people, weren't those the days, great album..." till I realised that my colleagues are all in their 20s.

For me, there are a handful of bands I say I don't like (Meatloaf, Queen, Marillion, to name a few) and yet I seem to know their songs and all the words...
