The The - Soul Mining
World Shut Your Mouth - Julian Cope
The Queen is Dead - The Smiths

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 22/05/2022 15:23

Green Day - American Idiot (so angry and disillusioned)
Songs About Jane - Maroon 5 (I haven't liked much by them since this, but this album was amazing, every song was good and the whole thing flowed like a story)
Peaches - The Stranglers (I'm not sure if I'm allowed a compilation album)

Today it's

James - 7
Supergrass - I should CoCo

Tomorrow it could well be 2 different ones.😂

Pop Art Transvision Vamp
Kiss Me Kiss Me kiss Me The Cure
Peepshow Siouxsie and The Banshees
Floodland Sisters of Mercy but also
8 legged groove machine Wonderstuff!

Alanis Morrisette Jageed Little Pill would always be my number 1.

I agrees with so, so many on this thread. I don't think I could ever narrow it down to just one, but the Anthology of Bread is definitely on my (long) list.

I know what you mean. About a month ago I deleted my whole playlist I'd had for a year as I was entirely sick of it. Slowly replacing it with other stuff now.

Def Leppard - Hysteria
Nestor - Kids in a Ghost Town

Not a single bad song of either of them.

hennaoj · 22/05/2022 16:26

Just remembered another

Del Amitri - Twisted

Oasis, Definitely Maybe
Verve, Urban Hymns

You can probably guess my age quite accurately from those references! 😂

Urban Hymns was a great album.

Tubeway Army (eponymous)

I just love Replicas and the Tubeway Army album black and white cover.
Replicas was the first album I ever bought, worth every penny of my pocket money when I was 13.
