What thread outcomes that never got posted are you curious about?

Which thread were you invested in where perhaps the OP stopped posting or the thread died and you never got to know the outcome?

For me there are two:

The one where the lady got her heart broken by a Jewish guy who just suddenly dumped her.

A more recent one where a girl was "exclusive" with guy she hadn't heard from in 3 weeks and she went out and bought him birthday presents anyway. He then posted pics on Instagram of his bday celebrations which she wasn't invited to. She messaged him and I would love to know if he replied and what happened.

You go....

OP posts:

The one where the woman’s husband was supposed to be in Portugal and she tracked him in north Spain!
Found out by trying to find her airpods!!!

She did finally post on one of her threads that wasn't full that her son and the girlfriend had broken up and all was ok.

Thanks for letting us know about this it plagued me ! lol

Rogue1001MNer · 12/05/2022 22:58

Another two-

One was titled John learns to adult about a tatty ex

The other was the woman who worked in the same company as her DH and she was being royally screwed after maternity leave. There were 2 or 3 threads over a long period.
I hope she triumphed. She deserved to because was awesome

The one where the NDN knocked a patio door through a wall onto the OP's private garden. It was so gloriously entertaining with marvellous updates from the OP and the contributors. I did see the final update before it was deleted but it pretty much wasn't an update, it just said things were too outing. This is now taken to mean it was a troll thread but mn has never actually said it was a troll.
I'm happy even if it was fiction, it kept me entertained through some pretty shitty times, but we never got to the ending.

Wasnt that a troll

The lady who got a new job away from her abusive husband and was terrified to tell hjm. I hope shes okay

Yes, this one for me!!! She stopped posting. I really hope she is ok and living a safe and wonderful life somewhere away from her prick of a husband!

Sapphirensteel · 12/05/2022 23:04

There was a lady, name something like WayAye, her husband had been arrested for DV, she had a small child and was pregnant. She sounded so scared, yet still loved him ( or thought she did) Often wonder if she’s OK.

This was really sad, I'd love to get a positive update.

There was one about domestic abuse that still haunts me. The husband/partner had forced the OP to eat paper (a drawing she'd done) and his parents were just sat watching, not doing anything. I hope she managed to get away from him and is now happy and safe

Wasn't that updated not that long ago?

The girlfriend dumped him in the end, he was doing an apprentice I think and was on the way to being ok

PennyFleck · 12/05/2022 23:07

This one! She was called @Coatsprotectionleague, I think. I always hope she managed to get away - was planning everything so carefully.

Yes! Me too.

Beat me to the ironing board one!

I'd love to know how the couple who inherited a woods are. Their next door neighbour said it was theirs and was trying to get possession. I know the op lost a baby which was desperately sad. I hope they got their woods in the end and are happy now

I wonder a lot about the lady with the neighbours trying to steal her woods - I hope things worked out for her.

The lady who found out she had won a laptop in a raffle a few months before, but her relative had taken it saying they’d give it to her but they kept it. She deleted the thread after someone said this will end up in the daily mail

I was going say this one!

Stormyinacoffeemug · 12/05/2022 23:14

The one with the neighbour who hung binbags on the line overnight that got darked on

The one in the cul-de-sac with the neighbour-hood-watch guy called Rodger

The one with CF neighbour's and ex-army dad

Moonlightdust · 12/05/2022 23:15

Tinkletwat · 12/05/2022 22:21

The one for me was about 3-4 years ago around December time.

A woman lived rurally, noticed a man watching her whilst she was out walking her dog then more weird things kept happening at home like creepy things being left in the garden. They then found out some local people wanted to but their house and it got super weird.

Think she pulled the thread but there was a quick update that I missed. Anyone else remember? Username may have included something 'fox'.

Yes! I was going to mention this one too! I was so invested in the story! It all became a bit sinister towards the end and for legal reasons I think she pulled the thread? I’d love to know of an update!

This!

Moonlightdust · 12/05/2022 23:23

GEG aka The green eyed gardener. I think they ended up marrying and having a baby? Love to hear of an update!

Also the anonymous homophobic letter someone’s husband received? Did she ever discover who sent it?

Sunnytwobridges · 12/05/2022 23:23

I think there was a thread here about a woman who saw her DH's father with another woman while having lunch with a friend or something like that. Really wanted to know the details about that one.

SuffolkBargeWoman · 12/05/2022 23:30

Twittlebee and the woods she inherited was a troll.
The neighbors putting patio doors into a private garden was a troll.
The husband in Portugal instead of Spain (or vice versa) was a troll.

The ones I've always wondered about are Yellowblinds and BountyIceCream. One had a very odd mother-in-law, the other a very strange and possessive husband.

HazelBite · 12/05/2022 23:32

The one with the puddles on the Neighbours patio which were the posters fault as water had "flowed" from her lower lying garden uphill to her neighbours.

@HazelBite she was a troll too

I don't get over-invested in threads. Call me cynical, but generally if you think it's too good/sad/weird etc to be true, it usually is.

I disagree. If I posted all the things that's happened in my life I'd be called a troll! Truth is stranger than fiction.

Rogue1001MNer · 12/05/2022 23:46

Thank you so much for going to the trouble @whynotwhatknot

The link doesn't work (victim of the replatforming???)

If you've read it, could you possibly summarise?
