Purely me being nosy...

My neighbour, I haven't a clue what she does for work, young glam woman.

I spot her fairly often leaving her house on foot, dressed very glam businesslike with some sort of pass on a lanyard and a laptop bag but then she always walks home again within 45 mins to an hour.

I want to ask her as it baffles me so much. If she works from home, and is just going for a walk, why does she bring her laptop? If she's going to work, what on Earth does she do for such a short period of time? I want her job Grin

My neighbour asked me this question once 😬 she wanted to know what I did for work haha I work at home sometimes and I dress in suit and heels as I still have team meetings at home. I used to sometime go to a cafe for a change of scenery and a coffee with my laptop to work. Could be the same for your neighbour 😊

Is it the same time of day when she leaves or different? Is it every morning or if not is there a pattern?
What is near you? Offices, coffee shops, estate agents?
Is she then in the house for the rest of the day when she returns?

I'm quite invested in this now.

Could be sales, meeting different client's and the laptop has the necessary documents

If you had a camera with a long lenses and the person is in public, could you not take a picture but use the camera to see the name of the company on the lanyard ?

I recently moved and my neighbour asked me what I do! We work from home at the moment - and I work long hours. But sometimes I nip into the nearby office for meetings or to collect printed documents. Once to get my photograph taken for a pass.

soemtimes I would only be gone for about half an hour but would be wearing office attire

Another vote for this. A friend of mine did this when he’d been fired and didn’t want his wife to find out. Didn’t last long!

She has a daily morning meeting at the office, is given her remit for the day, then returns to WFH.

Or...she's a high class hooker with a client who gets off on her business attire and briefcase. She's probably got crotchless knickers on under that suit.

I sometimes do this, and I'm often nipping to my parents down the road for a lunch, or for a bit of fresh air/movement break. I work from home and would take my laptop if I was off to my grandmas so I could work there

People probably wonder what the heck I do for work as I seem to be in and out at random times. Sometimes dressed casual and sometimes glam workwear. I wfh so depends how arsed I can be to get ready that morning

She is going to meet a fellow spy and exchange laptops with various codes and dodgy software. She has top intel on politicians and has to keep strange hours so anyone watching finds it hard to track her
