What's for dinner on this beautiful Good Friday?!

What lovely weather! Such a nice change.

We're having burgers every which way - which means the girls will have a beef, bacon and bbq sauce burger which has absolutely no contact with anything that could be accused of being a vegetable.

DH and I will be having chicken satay burgers - yum!

Washed down with a nice NZ sav' blanc. . .

Had McDonald's for dinner so just had sandwiches for tea.

Threeboysandadog · 15/04/2022 18:53

Chicken curry, half rice, half chips. Ds3 (15) had lunch at McDonald’s so wasn’t hungry. Ds2 (24) had lunch at KFC so only wanted the curry in a bowl no rice or chips. Fortunately ds1 (26) had a hospital canteen meal so wanted the whole lot. I feel like I’m running a restaurant here some days! I do have Shiraz Grin

((Hugs)) and a better breakfast to those in hospital. Hope you are well soon.

It's Good Friday. It has to be fish and chips.

Oven food because we've had a long day out - stuffed mushrooms for me, sausages for everyone else with crispy potato slices, green beans and carrots.

mizzo · 15/04/2022 19:10

Good Friday means fish pie with broccoli and peas.

Sidisawetlettuce · 15/04/2022 19:10

I'm a Catholic so Good Friday means no meat and no snacks/treats - just three modest meals. I had a jacket spud and salad.

Parker231 · 15/04/2022 19:12

BBQ with friends and probably lots of nice dry!

Parker231 · 15/04/2022 19:13

Well I’m in Scotland and we have been on the beach today in just long sleeve tops and jeans. So it isn’t cold in all of Scotland. We had 17c in Moray.
Pizza for us tonight.

JellyfishandShells · 15/04/2022 20:03

Gammon, parsley sauce, baked sweet potato, steamed rainbow chard. Husband has been gardening all day and impressively put away 4 times what my post Covid self could manage !

Doublechins · 15/04/2022 20:13

It's good Friday so....fish and chips 😋

Kezzie200 · 15/04/2022 20:14

Actually here in the far south west the weather isn't great but it is dry. We had pizzas made in our Ooni for the first time!

Peachy7 · 15/04/2022 20:15

@slimshady18 I've been wanting fish & chips for weeks, we don't have takeaways very often so went for that. I might grab some cheeky hot wings before the football tomorrow though!!

ZenNudist · 15/04/2022 20:16

Good Friday = no meat so dinner was fish tacos. Delish!

Peachy7 · 15/04/2022 20:16

SockFluffInTheBath · 15/04/2022 20:24

We had a barbecue as well. Beef burgers and some marinaded chicken, and some nice salad. Then marshmallows Grin
