What lovely weather! Such a nice change.

We're having burgers every which way - which means the girls will have a beef, bacon and bbq sauce burger which has absolutely no contact with anything that could be accused of being a vegetable.

DH and I will be having chicken satay burgers - yum!

Washed down with a nice NZ sav' blanc. . .

I feel for the Scots among us, hearing others (me included) banging on about the good weather when theirs is - erm, not so good. . .

Sweet potato katsu curry ready meal. Just me here for dinner before I go to work.

Grilled chicken breasts, roast veg and crispy potatoes from Tesco. Boring really. The sandwich and gin is appealing.

Veggie bean and lentil chili with brown rice, topped with jalapeños and feta. I just threw a load of stuff in the instant pot... Fingers crossed!
Were not vegetarian and we aren't avoiding meat today for Good Friday reasons, just trying to be frugal.

Another lapsed RC here. So it is jumbo fish fingers and mayo in a roll with veg and a few chips. Carb overload.

Not fish and chips. The place we go to has a huge car park and dh couldn't get anywhere near it. Cars double parked and the road past it blocked.

Home made fish curry and Lidl Crement.

Was supposed to be baking Easter cakes with DC and making a steak and ale pie. Instead, we're all pretty low with a nasty lurgy that just won't let up and we've spent the day in pjs watching Netflix and dinner is fish fingers and chips.

A spanish chicken tray bake (chicken thighs, chorizo, fennel, peppers, red onion). Wine.

Fish fingers cause its Good Friday - no meat.

Thai red curry with tofu and veg - my fave. Already started on a glass of Prosecco! Bit sad I have no one to share it with as single and live alone but thought why should I miss out on bank hol treats

I'm also single and live alone and I've cracked open the wine! Deliberating ordering an Indian and putting thoughts of waste of money/trying to lose weight out my head!

@NeverChange it was fish in parsley sauce and mash. Tasted a lot better than it looked lol

Cider and olives kids at their dad, boyfriend away.
