I love these threads - they give me lots of ideas.

We are having keema curry made with a Patak's madras spice pot (might be quite hot), onion, garlic, beef mince, tomatoes, peas, spinach and a stray carrot. With basmati rice and poppadums and minty raita.

What have you had / are going to have?

That sounds good!

We had roast chicken with roasted new potatoes, falafel, salad and antipasti.

Tomorrow the left over chicken will become a casserole type thing. There's not loads left but enough for that if I bulk out with veg.

Fridge mash up pasta- fried chorizo, mushroom, courgette, onion with pasta & pesto - covered in cheese & baked. It was delicious if I do say so myself!

Baked cod with lemon, dill and chilli with smashed chilli peas and acti-fry chips (very basic this evening as we are knackered!)

Scrambled eggs because the velociraptors are in overdrive after not laying for months, some leftover baked beans and a slice of toast. The babies ate earlier than me today and they had cheese cubes, baby cucumbers, marmite sandwiches made with thins and some grapes.

MadMadMadamMim · 03/04/2022 19:21

Butternut squash risotto. Comfort food at its finest! It was delicious.

Also, pear and ginger crumble cos I got 2 large bags of pears for 28p from Tesco just before they closed.

Cheeseburger pizza. Although why I'm even cooking it I'm not sure because I don't feel hungry and it smells grim as well

Green macaroni & cheese

UsernameTaken76 · 03/04/2022 19:26

It was going to be roast chicken with chorizo roast potatoes with a bitter leaf & blue cheese salad. However, DH & I weren’t that hungry so we’ve roasted the chicken and going to have chicken & stuffing sandwiches with gravy on the side when back from walking Ddog
